Kate's POV

The day after school ended I decided to try and break the awkwardness and invite the guys to hang out at my place. Jaime and I left school a bit early to go get pizza and movies for tonight.

"Do you think it'll be better?" I asked.

"Be better? How?"

"Well like... The whole Tony thing and-"

He reached over and kissed me. "K, it's gonna be fine. I promise."

"I hope so..."

Jaime grabbed the pizzas and smiled at me. "It will be. Do you not trust your own boyfriend?"

"I do!" I smiled.

"Good."

Later on we got everything set up and that's when Vic brought everyone over in the van. Liz and I ran upstairs to put on different clothes. She always kept some clothes at my house.

"So why exactly are you doing this?"

"I wanna break the awkward." I said.

"That's not gonna do it..."

"How do you know?"

"Because this isn't something you can force to leave, the damage is done. Trust me. I know. Remember Shay?" She asked.

"Do I?!" I scoffed. "I guess you're right... But nothing says we can't hang out..." I grinned.

"Well duh! We're all friends aren't we?!"

"That we are." I smiled.

My nerves about tonight started to fade. Liz and Jaime are right. It's gonna be okay.

"Hey... You never told me..."

"Tell you what shit face?" I asked as I snapped back to reality.

"You and Jaime... Did you do it? How is he? Is he... Big?"

"MY GOD LIZ THAT'S PERSONAL! And we didn't do it."

"Why not? I BRIBED VIC WITH SEX TO CHANGE HIS MIND FROM GOING JUST SO YOU TWO CAN DO THE HORIZONTAL MACARENA!" She yelled.

"I know, I know but it just felt so planned and I don't want it to be planned." I explained. "I want it to be a surprise."

"I can understand that..."

"You bribed Vic with sex?" I asked. "Do I even wanna know?"

She nodded while giggling like an idiot.

"Horny sex freak is what you are. My god child!" I gasped.

"I can't help it. He has a way of moving those strong Mexican hips and it makes me-"

"I DO NOT NEED THESE VISIONS. PLEASE! I BEG YOU." I yelled. "I DO NOT WANT TO IMAGINE A NAKED VIC!"

She started laughing. "It's a nice sight to see! His chest hair is so cute!"

"He has chest hair?" I asked.

"Yes. But it's not too much but it's not too little. It's perfect." She sighed.

"Hey, you guys okay in there?" Jaime asked through the door.

Thank god. My babe is here to save me!

I opened up. "We were just about to walk out." I smiled.

I took his hand and we walked back downstairs. I can't look at Vic the same way ever again... Or his gyrating Mexican hips. Oh god. Mike and Tony stretched out across the living-room floor I could swear I saw Tony watching me, it felt like it... Vic and Liz curled up in the recliner while Jaime and I cuddled up on the sofa. We were about halfway through Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire when Jaime's hand started rubbing my thigh. I moaned and covered it with a cough. Tony looked up at us. The hell? My nerves are creeping up on me again... Why is he so jumpy tonight? I glared at Jaime, he grinned back at me. He motioned with his chin for us to go upstairs.
