The next day, Jacob went to do some training by himself. Before he left, everyone told him to be careful, so he listened and stayed close to town. As he was battling a boar, he beat it then got a pop-up screen. It said this "You have obtained the unique skill Infinite Spear." Jacob was a little confused, then he walked back to the place the guild was staying at.
"Welcome back Jacob" Kirito said as Jacob entered the house. "Thanks" Jacob said back. He opened his skills list and showed Kirito and Asuna his new Unique Skill. "Awesome job Jacob. You are the perfect person to get that Unique Skill with how experienced you are with the Spear" Kirito said to Jacob. "Yes, you are the perfect person in this guild to have Infinite Spear" Asuna said to him. "Thanks you two" Jacob said as everyone else asked what a Unique Skill was.
Kirito briefly gave them an introduction to Unique Skills and told them "Everyone in this guild can have their own Unique Skills, you just have to earn it." Rem, Deku, and Uraraka were now determined to get their own Unique Skills. They slept that night and woke up the next morning to go to fight the next Boss, Nerius the Evil Treant.
As they got to the boss room, Kirito asked, "Jacob, would you and Rem like to finish it off this time." "Sure, we would love to" Jacob and rem said as they entered the boss room. Nerius the Evil Treant was waiting for them. When they entered the room, Nerius the Evil Treant started attacking the guild. All of its attacks missed as Deku and Uraraka started.
The boss's health was dropped to yellow as Asuna and Kirito jumped in, taking the boss's health to red. Now it was Jacob and Rem's turn. Rem dropped the boss's health to low before the boss tried to attack her. Jacob ran in front of Rem and blocked the attack with his spear. He then charged at the boss and screamed "INFINITE SPEAR" as he used his Unique Skill and killed the boss.
"Awesome job everyone. We've still got a lot of rooms left, but Asuna and I believe in all of you" Kirito said as they went to Floor 4. They went to a nearby town where they ate and then went to sleep for the night.
