Chapter 27

Scarlett's P.O.V

The first one to reach me was Courtney. She jumped up next to me and gave me a tight squeeze. Next was Calum, Luke and then Michael. They all also gave me huge hugs, which I returned. When we had finished I looked to find Ashton. He stood in the same spot, staring at me. It was like he was trying to figure if it was real or not.

"Are you going to come hug me? Or will I have to get up myself?" I asked teasingly. He smiled and walked over to the bed. He leaned over and gave me a hug gently.

"I missed you." He whispered in my ear.

"I missed you too, all of you." I said. The nurse walked in and was about to speak until she saw me awake.

"You're awake!" She said happily. I nodded.

"We weren't expecting you for another few days."

"Looks like a miracle happened." Courtney said while she laughed a little.

"How did you wake up? Do you remember?" The nurse asked. I looked up at Ashton. He tilted his head to the side and smiled.

"It's a long story..." I said and smiled as well.

"Well it's passed visiting hours. You children should go home. I'll keep her safe until tomorrow."

"But-."

"No buts. We need to run some tests. You can come back at 8:00 tomorrow morning." With that she started to edge them into the hallway.

"Bye Scar!"

"Good luck."

"We're talking first thing tomorrow morning."

"Sleep tight."

"I love you..."

With that the door closed. I sighed and laid back. Even though I have been sleeping for a few weeks I'm exhausted. As I silently waited for her to come back, I started humming to a song. I smiled as I realized the song.

That song had to be one of my favorites. Wether it's the lyrics or the beat.... I love this band. When I lifted my hand up, I saw my nail polish was coming off. There was this needle attached to a machine inside my arm. When I touched it I felt a sting.

"What?" I whispered to myself. I raised my hand up near my face. The pain was on under my wrist. I gasped as I realized the burns. Just looking at it I can tell it was the one from my dream. It was spelt in perfect handwriting.

"What does this mean..." I don't know wether to be scared that this came from my dream, or anxious. I guess I'll figure out soon.... I shut my eyes and got ready for to sleep. I have hope I'll wake up tomorrow, safe and sound.
