Chapter 6

Rose's POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I rolled over, and I rolled into a hard body. Nick was sleeping so peacefully. I was so tired. Between the storm and the sex with Dominic, there was no way I was making it to class. I texted Lisa and told her to take notes for me.

I got in and went to take a shower. In my shower, my mind drifted back to last night with Dominic.

"Hey, are you okay," he asked.

"Yeah, its Ashton's birthday. I got plans."

He didn't say nothing else. He just left. I knew I was wrong for having an attitude, but I was kinda pissed off. He just fucked me for two hours and now he was going home like nothing happened. It's cool though.

I heard the shower running and tried to ignore it. Forty five minutes later, I heard my front door lock. I was agitated and pissed off. It is what it is. I went back to my old life.

It was the start of summer now. Dominic graduated and has moved on with Ashton. Last I heard, she was pregnant and they're engaged. I went on with life like nothing ever happened between us. I took an intensive summer course. I had to stay focus. I'm glad Dominic was happy.
