Rose's POV

After my lunch date with Lisa, I went home feeling hopeful. We made up, but we both knew it would take time. Once I got home, I started watching tv until I fell asleep. I woke up and checked my phone.

Hubby🥰😍❤️❣️: Hey baby I went to the hospital to see Neal and Mama Jo. It's not looking to good for her. I'll call you later. I love you.

Hey babe. I just got your message. I was so tired. Once you come home, we need to talk. I hope all is okay with Mama Jo. I love you too.

I waited for a response, but one never came. I started thinking what the fuck this nigga up to? I didn't worry about sending him another message. He'll be home soon I guess.

I went upstairs and took me a nice hot shower and then got dressed in some pajama pants and a tank top. I went back downstairs and started dinner: grilled chicken breasts, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and baked beans.

I checked the time and it was 7:45. Still no word from Dominic. To be honest this was becoming an everyday thing because of work. I just have to sit here and wait until he either calls or he comes home.

By now I had dinner ready and the table set waiting for him to come home. I checked my phone and it was 8:29. I said fuck it and called Dominic at this point.

"Hello?" a female answered.

I looked at the phone like what the fuck? "Where's Dominic?"

"Luck, baby," this bitch said, "telephone."

"Hello, who's this?" He answered.

"Your ex-fiancée!" I yelled and then hung up.

I can't believe this bastard! Ugh I know I cheated but damn that was when we first got together and I paid for it. I guess he really want that family. It's cool though. I packed my stuff up and I left.

It was almost 8:30 and I haven't called or checked on Rose. I got her message from earlier. I wasn't tryna hear whatever it was she wanted to talk about.

I stayed with Jocelyn after we got from the hospital. I tried to comfort her as much as I could. One thing led to another and  we fucked. About six rounds at that. That's why I haven't checked in.

I heard my phone ringing while I was getting out the shower. "Bae answer that. It might be Hakeem," I told Jocelyn.

Usually if I'm out, Rose don't bother to call me. She knows once business is handled I get at her.

"Hello," Jocelyn answered. "Luck, baby, telephone."

"Hello, who's this?" I answered not looking at my screen.

"Your ex-fiancée!" Rose answered and then hung up in my face. I tried to call back but it went straight to voicemail. She blocked me.

I called Hakeem and told them to bring me my car. Ones they got here, I dipped out. I hauled ass to our place. Once I got there I noticed her Tesla was parked in the garage. Thank God!

I rushed in calling out for her but nothing. I got to our room and all her stuff was gone. I looked around and it was a note on the bed.

Dear Dominic,
I know this may come as a surprise to you, but I had to leave. Yes I cheated, and for that I'm truly sorry, but I proved my loyalty to you. I chose you over my best friend. Lisa and I could have worked things out. But this is by far a betrayal. I kinda figured you and that girl from the restaurant had something going on. I guess you're out making your family. I'm sorry I can't give you children. I hate myself for that. I'm half a woman now, but I tried to be all I could for you. I've killed for you, and I'll do it again. Listen, Dominic, I love you so much and I would give my life for you. If you want children that bad, then you should be with someone that can give you that. Your ring is back in the box, and I put it in the safe. I didn't take anything. I left everything exactly how you left it. I love you enough to let you go so you could be happy. Goodbye, Dominic.
Love, Lucky's Rose

Tears ran down my cheeks. No one has ever made me cry before. I couldn't believe she walked away. What's worst is I have no idea where she would go.

I don't know why, but I called Lisa.

"Hello?" she answered.

"Lisa, it's Dominic. Have you seen Rose?" I asked her.

"I saw her  about a week ago, but not since then. I tried called but she's not answering. Is everything okay?"

"You saw her for lunch?"

"Yeah, she said she wanted to talk. When she left, she said she was going home to talk to you. She wanted to get your approval before we spoke again."

"She hasn't contacted you since then?"

"No, she hasn't. Dominic, what's going on?"

I hung up on her. I needed to find Rose. I couldn't believe I was stupid enough to step out on her. I even nutted in Jocelyn and told her I wanted her to have my kids. The fucked up part about it is, I was fucking sober when I did it. I'm about to lose my wife.
