I woke up in the middle of the night gasping for air. I had an exciting dream that jolted me awake. I looked around and he wasn't anywhere on the bed. I didn't think much of it and went to the bathroom. After I washed my hands, I thought about what I should make for breakfast because, despite having powers, he seemed to enjoy eating the food I made. Then, I thought about him and walked downstairs to the kitchen. Luckily, he wasn't sitting there on the dining table in the dark waiting for breakfast. I looked around the living room, the bathroom, and even under the table. He wasn't anywhere in bunny form or human form.

Then, I heard a rumbling sound coming from the living room. I quickly ran up the stairs and peeked from behind a wall. He appeared in the middle of the living room and sat in mid-air with that stupid smile. There were couches in the living room and he still chose to sit like that. It reminded me of how stubborn he was at times. But, he wasn't alone. Quickly, a strange spirit poofed into the room after him. It didn't look like a human or any other animal I recognized. It was shapeless and looked like smoke floating in one place. Despite not having a mouth, it was able to talk.

"What do you think you're doing?" The little spirit yelled.

"I'm sitting down." He talked to spirits the same way he talked to me.

"No, not literally. Why are you with that human? You two are even in the future." The spirited scolded.

"We're having fun together." He laughed.

"You showed her your powers, didn't you? You shouldn't even be in your human form." The spirit was able to show a lot of emotions despite looking like nothing.

"Shouldn't you be in another form?" He snapped his fingers and the spirit turned into a fox.

"We don't have forms known to non-spiritual beings. You just like to bully me." I didn't know a fox could blush.

"It's not like I'm neglecting my duties anyways. So, I should be allowed some leeway." I thought he was ignoring his duties.

"Why are you doting on that human girl?" The fox was so mad that it was bumping its head on his leg.

"She's interesting." He picked up the fox and started shaking him up and down.

"Hey! Stop doing that. I'm going to get sick." The fox tried to nibble on his fingers.

"I wonder if a fox is as cute as a bunny." He put the fox down and rubbed his head.

"What did you just say? I'm dizzy now." The fox staggered.

"Don't concern yourself with me. This has nothing to do with you." He stood up.

"You need to go back to the spirit world. You can't waste time here." The fox walked in front of him.

"Wasting time? I'm the last one who needs to be told that." He sounded angry.

"If you know, then shouldn't you wrap this up and return?" The fox transformed into a human with fox ears and tail.

"You have become imprudent since I've been gone. I guess I need to train you again." He wrapped his hands around the fox's neck and started choking him.

"I can't breathe. Stop it. I'm sorry. I will reflect on my foolishness." The fox was struggling to move.

"That's right I thought. Now return and be a good fox." He let go of the fox.

"There's actually something else I need to tell you." The fox heaved.

I couldn't bear to listen in anymore after seeing him strangle that fox spirit. I quickly went back to my room and hid under the sheets. I didn't think he was a violent being because he was always so nice to me. Not only that, but it seemed like he was a very powerful servant if he was able to talk to a spirit like that. It made me wonder if he was a very powerful servant because his god was really powerful. I quickly fell back asleep after thinking about who he was and the last thing I remember was feeling something soft touch my head. Then, the morning came quickly.
