Today was like any other. Mina (Artifical Intelligence) woke me up. Picked me out my uniform. White dress shirt with forest green v-neck sweater and a short black skirt, plus black tie tucked into the sweater. To top it off, a green bow with black polka dot. And like always. I had to eat breakfast with my Steve. Every time I would race out of there when Steve tried to ask questions. Racing to the elevator. Seeing Heimdall. Standing next to his black Sonata. Always opening the door at the right time. Driving with Heimdall was my favorite pastime. I could always think my best thoughts when I'm with him. Writing them down in the journal Heimdall bought for me. When we got to school, I hesitantly waited before opening the door choosing if I wanted to leave or stay.

"You don't want to be late. Your father wouldn't like it." Heimdall eased my decision.

"Of course!" I yelled out when I was out the car.

"Oh wait, what do you want for your birthday?"

"I want to go out. Have a adventure!"

"You know your not allowed."

"You asked!" I yelled to him as I was walking into the building.

Once school was over I sat outside waiting for Heimdall. He was never late. This time a blue Carvet pulled up to the sidewalk. Slowly the window rolled down. Reveling golden locks. Instantly I jumped up.

"Hey, Holo! Heimdall said he wouldn't be able to pick you up today." Steve smiled.

"Don't lie, You asked Heimdall if you could pick me up. That's to bad cause I feel like walking."

Steve instantly got out of the car. Catching up with me.

"Do you know how far the tower is from here?"

"I'll ask Mina "

"Why do you hate me so much? I haven't done anything to you. All I've tried to do is be nice to you."

"I made my father forget my mother. Every day, he tries to make me like you. And its like he doesn't care!"

Steve looked at me with no response. Us just standing in the middle of the sidewalk. People passing by looked at us as if we're crazy. My eyes left Steve's. I opened up my bag. Seeing the picture of my mother. I looked back at Steve. Grabbing the picture I sighed.

"Fine. " I walked back to the car.

When we got to the tower. I jumped out the car and ran inside. I waited for the elevator to open. When it did I slid in side. I closed the door, but I didn't choose a floor yet. I folded my legs then buried my face into my knees. I stayed that way for a while.

Finally I got up and selected the top floor. I walked to my room. And flopped face down on my bed. In no time I fell asleep.

It was 9:37 when I woke up. Mina told me my father wished to speak to me at once. I got up and scooted my feet to his office.

"Holo! Apologize to Steve!"

My father yelling woke me up. At first I looked at him unsure why he was anger at me. Then it clicked. Steve told him.

"I don't know what I did wrong? " I pretended to act innocent.

"Holo! I'm not up for games! You know exactly what I'm talking about."

"You don't need to yell at her. It isn't important." Steve tried to calm my father.

"Fine! Okay. Sorry Steve that your a incompetent idiot, who just love messing with my life. I'm sorry I had to be the unlucky person to take on the role of your daughter! " I stormed off to my room.
