Chapter 5: Love Is Stronger Than All

Ivan sat in silence as Eleanor cried in his arms the illusions were strong and she was struggling to fight them in her current state, however that didn't mean that Ivan was giving up on her after all she was his everything, his one true love and the one that he had never thought he would ever find and yet he had found her here and now. He wasn't going to sit by and watch as the girl who had shown him how it really felt to love was being tortured with some stupid illusions that weren't real. Gently he took her chin and lifted it so that they were looking into one anothers eyes, ''Listen to me my rosebud, you mean the world to me and you mean the world to the team you are the teams friend and an invaluable member and... to me I.. I never thought that I would ever find a girl so wonderful, kind, strong and beautiful in all of my life and yet here you are right in front of me. My lady... with you, my heart I share I'll never, ever leave your side because I truly do love you'' Ivan whispered and placed a sweet kiss on her cheek softly. 

With those words, maybe not all of them but with those last five words the Illusion was shattered and Eleanor's eyes brightened up a little the tears stopping almost at an instant. Ivan was a little surprised when he felt his face lightly being held between the both of her hands as she had turned around. Now sitting in his lap she rubbed her eyes to rid them of the tears, that filled them. ''Ivan..'' she whispered before gently wrapping her arms around his neck and burying her face into his neck. ''Oh Ivan it was horrible, everything that was being said I couldn't bare it and...um I love you too Ivan'' she whispered and remained cuddled in as close to him as she could get.

Ivan's face burned red within his helmet but he managed to smile happily because those words were truly special to him. Hugging her closely for a few minutes he then pulled back softly and connected her energem back onto her necklace and then helping her to stand up dusting the dust and dirt off of her. Just then the guys were thrown back before them landing on the ground and forced to de-morph. ''Guys! Okay that's the last straw, its one thing to mess with my head, but messing with my head and then messing with my friends... nu-uh that's not happening, not whilst I am still here, Energize, unleash the power!'' She shouted and morphed into her ranger form.

''My lady I believe that this belongs to you?'' Ivan said standing beside her and passing her the charger that she had dropped when she had been kidnapped. ''I shall buy you enough time to prepare yourself then you destroy this beast'' Ivan said nodding to her ''Summon Ptera saber!'' He shouted then ran at Illusionist and did his best to hold him off, he was extremely fast which made it harder to do so but he had to do the best that he could.

Eleanor held the charger in her hand and looked down to it, could she really handle such power? The last time she had tried to use it she had failed miserably and another fail would not be good in this current situation. Just then she remembered Kendell's words, focus, no rush. Eleanor closed her eyes and took a deep breath to clear her mind, ''Dino charger X-elarate activate!'' She shouted and inserted it into her dagger. This time she kept her mind clear and didn't let herself rush, even when Ivan was knocked away and also forced to de-morph. Opening her eyes she felt the power flood through her and within seconds she was in front of Illusionist smirking, she was as fast as a ninja and was easily able to knock him off balance, then with a few strikes she finished him off.

''She did it! Alright!'' Tyler shouted with a laugh as he and the other guys ran over to her engulfing her in a group hug. However of course as always the celebration didn't last long as the magna-beam was shot down turning Illusionist gigantic. The boys looked to one another and nodded as they morphed again and all 5 of them threw their chargers to summon their zords. ''Dino charge megazord Para-Raptor formation!'' Tyler, Chase and Riley shouted as they entered their zord. 

''Ptera charge megazord, Archeopter formation!'' Ivan and Eleanor shouted entering their own megazord. ''Together my friends this illusion beast will hurt no one any longer!'' Ivan called as both zords dove into battle working in total sync. ''Double lightning final strike!'' With that Illusionist was destroyed once again.

Humming Eleanor was cleaning the tables in the cafe happily, after the fight they had all returned to the cafe and got back to work. Thankfully it was nearing the end of the day so they would all get some rest soon enough. Ivan who had been off shift for a while walked into the cafe holding a hand behind his back. Seeing Eleanor who was cleaning the tables and humming as she did so, smiling he walked over to her and wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her back into his chest making her squeak before giggling. ''Ivan I'm still working'' she laughed and looked back to his face.

''I know you are my lady but I simply couldn't wait any longer to give you these'' he said removing his hand from behind his back and holding it in front of her. He was holding onto a dozen red roses and was smiling as he let her take them from his hand into her arms. 

''You got these for me? Oh Ivan I love them so much! Thank you they are beautiful'' Eleanor said as she admired the beautiful flowers that she was now holding in her arms. She looked back to him a little bit and smiled before kissing his nose sweetly and blushing since the others were yet again all watching them flirt together it was a little embarrassing having eyes on them the whole time. 

''Geez get a room already you two'' Chase laughed as he leaned against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest. Ivan looked up to him with a tilted head before something seemed to come to his mind and he pulled away from her and started to dig through his pockets looking for something. ''Dude it was a figure of speech what did you lose this time?'' Chase asked as they all walked over to them and watched Ivan. 

''Ah-ha! I have found them!'' Ivan said before getting down on one knee in front of Eleanor, everyone's eyes widened, was he about to do what they thought he was about to do? My lady Eleanor I wanted to ask you if you would please accept these... will you move in with me?'' Ivan asked offering a set of keys that seemed newly cut. Most of the others rolled their eyes playfully thinking that he was going somewhere else with that whole getting down on one knee thing however Eleanor looked happier than anything. 

''Of course I will!'' She shouted and jumped into his arms giggling and taking the keys into her hands. Ivan simply stayed in an apartment basically right next to the museum, Kendell had set him up in it as it was better than staying in the base where there was no where to sleep other than Koda's little cave space. Ivan's eyes sparkled as he stood up with her in his arms and spun her in circles happily laughing along with her.

''Well at least they are both happy together, come on you guys lets get back to work whilst they have their moment together'' Shelby said with a smile as the rest of them left the two alone together to talk and cuddle.
