Nice to meet ya, what's your name?
Let me treat ya to a drink

3rd Pov.

Two girls were walking alongside each other in the dark, there was an awkward silence. A nervous aura surrounded them.

The elder girl let out a sign, "Why are we doing this again?",

Nyda Pov.

I was asking myself rather than my companion, but before answering my question the younger spoke. "Because we are invited?", a chuckle escaped my mouth.

I have known Sana for a short amount of time now, and she's never failed to cheer me up somehow.

"You know, for an assassin, you're quite funny."

Sana just looked at me with confusion.

 "I don't.. understand."

"I didn't think you would, but don't worry Sana it's fine." I laughed.

"Why did you ask the question then?" She questioned.

"I dunno, I just feel unsure of this whole situation, I know this is how we built 'the empire' I need so much. I am probably worrying too much anyway." A sigh left my mouth again.

"I do understand now, JP is a very dangerous man, even Fa- I mean my father has files on him Nyda. I suppose worry is the right feeling to have." and as those words left her mouth we arrived at our destination.

There we were standing in front of a huge mansion, I wanted to but the door was opened before I had the chance. Sana and I shared a look and shrugged.

The man in the doorway opened his mouth; "follow me, ladies."

He turned around and waved at us to follow him. The man's Asian, presumably Chinese, handsome too. I wonder were JP found a man like that. I took a glance at Sana and gave her a soft smile.

"You ladies aren't talkers much are ya? the names Jackson by the way."

I gave him a look. "I'm not really in the mood for small talk I'm trying to save my voice for your boss."

I could hear Sana chuckle next to me.

"Hate to ruin your mood, baby girl." I scoffed at the comment.

"And I'd hate it if you were to lose your job or your fin-"

"Jackson, leave these lovely ladies alone before you actually lose a finger."

Jackson gulped and left us with his boss, who cut me off before I could finish my threat.

"I apologise for his behaviour, Jackson is one of my most loyal underlings and should know not to talk."

"The name's JP, but if we are going to work together Jasper is the name to use", JP or Jasper gave a small grin after he spoke.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw Sana standing defensively next to Jackson, I didn't even notice that she left my side.

Jackson just kept talking towards her and kept making sexual comments to her.

"Don't be worried about your friend, nothing will happen as long as I'm here," Jasper stated after he observed me looking at the pair.

"Shall we exchange our conditions, Jasper?" I voiced after I recollected my thoughts.

"With pleasure, Miss Nyda" Jasper smiled as he took me to his office.

I walked with him and just when I quickly glanced to Sana, the image in front of my eyes was quite comical; Sana standing on her tiptoes, to reach Jackson's height, pressing a knife on Jackson's neck. While she whispers something into his ears, probably in his native language, at which his eyes become bigger but afterwards his smile turns into a grin.

What I picked up from the time I've spent with Sana is that she is a Polyglot or better said a multilingual. I haven't found out exactly which languages she's able to speak and to what degree, but I observed, when I listened to the phone calls she made with a male voice I do not recognise, that not only it seems that she's fluent but can switch languages in mere seconds. She is always highly alert of her surroundings. She is quite innocent, something I haven't sought after in an assassin, she does not know how to converse naturally and only follows orders. I think something in her youth made her that way.

Jasper closed the door behind me and sat in his chair, a human-like skull was placed on the right side of his desk. I swiftly sat down on an expensive couch what looked like it belonged in the 18th century.

"So, Miss Nyda, shall we start?"
