六 : Don't Come Down
"to all the lows and every high
the hellos and the goodbyes
in this moment,
i could die with you"___
[Last Name] [Name] already knew there was an entrance exam even before she accepted the offer. Her intellect was almost similar to Dazai's, doubled down with her gut's intuition, she's a force to be reckoned with.
That's what she's like in most cases though. There tends be a time where she most likely acts like Chuuya. Once you aggravate her, there's no turning back. Maybe that's why Dazai was a perfect match for her, back in the days.
[Name] was ordered by Dazai to take the folders of their most recent case back to the Agency's office on the fourth floor of the brick tiled building.
As she walked up the stairs, [Name] couldn't help but adore the beautiful city that Yokohama is. Whether you were with the bad guy's side or the side that saves, the Agency and the Mafia had one thing in common, their love for their hometown alongside with the feel to protect it with their lives.
The government's job was to protect Yokohama in the hours the sun is flaunting it's beauty. The Port Mafia oversees the city as the moon shines brightly. The Agency is in charge of every twilight, when it is neither day or night. And [Name] seems to be in confusion between midnight and twilight.
The door knob twisted open as she stepped inside. The sight before her raised her eyebrows. The agency's office was very lacking for a lack of better terms. For her, at least. After being pampared by the Port Mafia for years and years, this sure was a change of scenery.
[Name] placed the folders that fountains the files on top of the desk she read as Edogawa Ranpo's.
Of course she knew who he is. How irresponsible of her if she wouldn't even look up who were the members of the Mafia's sworn enemy.
It was a habit of her to sneak up and gather informations about her companions and co-workers after all. Another habit similar to this was stealing her personal and case files, successfully erasing her existence to some extent.
"[NAME]!!!!" another person busted through the doors of the office. Wearing a long sleeved polo shirt that was tucked into her plain black skirt, [Name] immediately recognized the newcomer due to her sharp memory.
"Ah, Akiko-san." [Name] greeted and nodded as a way to show her respect.
"What happened to you after that time? Why were you on the brink of death?!" Yosano was quick to question.
___
Yosano Akiko was very cautious of the [Eye Color] eyed lady in front of her eyes. Despite feeling very close to the girl, she can't forget that the latter was actually Mori's killing machine during The Great War that they both served in.
