Chapter six

Dear mother and father,
It is nearing me and izurus 17th birthday I wish you were here to celebrate with us. These tests over the past 11 years have been unbearable for me and izuru. We can't go a night without hearing either crying or screaming from our fellow hunted. I wish we were with you all alive so we wouldn't have to suffer through this torture. I can't keep living like this forever any hunted child that tengan takes I will protect them with my life. I wouldn't be able to bare the screams of innocent children not again. If you were still alive would you do the same?

Seeker description
Seekers are vile creatures that are born from the explosion of a deceased soul. They have long narrow bodies and large white eyes. They are quite hard to see due to their colour patterns. They have long arms with needle like hands. They don't have fingers at all. It is said that seekers are born from a human or hunted soul. They have a thirst for blood they have long fangs for teeth and they are sharp.
Time skip
I woke up underneath Nagito. What the hell why did he roll on top of me. He's cuddled up to me adorably and I couldn't help but blush and pet him. He makes it feel like the past eleven years haven't been absolute abuse. What am I thinking. He woke up and saw me petting him he didn't get off of me but only cuddled closer. "Warm it's too cold to get up" i laughed a little "just because its cold doesn't mean we don't have to get ready for school today it's Friday. If you want to join a club I can show you a few because tsumugi doesn't need my help till an hour after school. Luckily we all stay after on fridays." He looked up at me and smiled "what time is it now?" He yawned "it's like 5:00" (they go by military time so there will not be am or pm) "why so early?" I pet him more. "We leave in 45 minutes" he looked up at me again "alright" I smiled and waited for him to get up "the reason I woke up this early is to grab our uniforms and shower." He got up and waited for me to grab the uniforms. I got up out of bed and walked to the door. "You wanna come with?" He nodded "I guess I will as long as there is breakfast." I forgot today is my day to cook. "Oh fuck I have to go make the breakfast too." I quickly threw on my uniform. "We don't have time for shower today apparently. Let's go ko!" He looked at me weird. "Ok I guess let's go. How are you so energetic?" I guess I was kinda acting this morning. "I'm always energetic in the mornings. Now let's go." I grabbed his arm and dragged him downstairs. "It's the last day before break." I nodded excitedly. "I like breaks In school because it's the one time tengan is so busy we have a break from experiments. Two whole weeks!" I was so happy I was bouncing up and down. "That's good that you all have breaks." I let go of him when we got to the kitchen. I started to sing my improv music for our show we've been working on. A talent show for all. The Theater club will be working together with the music club. "What's this song for?" I was kinda dancing around too. "Oh the Theater and music club are working together on a huge talent show. They gave their club presidents stuff to work on so I have three performances to learn since I have my solo song then a duet with tsumugi and then a small performance with tsumugi kaede and ibuki." He smiled "well I can't wait to see that performance." I went back to singing and cooking. Soon everyone started to come downstairs. I had just finished cooking when everyone got downstairs. "One last day before break finally. We have a lot to prepare for in our clubs don't we?" I nodded "kaede am I gonna see you during club time?" She nodded "I do have to drop by ibuki will be there too around the same time tsumugi gets there." We all went silent for a second "alright. I'll be showing Nagito the different clubs of the school. Hopefully there is a club he likes if not that's fine." He looked at all of us. "I guess I'll go with you two when you go to the theater club and music club. Since I don't want to be alone at that time." I shrugged "I dont think tsumugi or ibuki would mind. Especially since ibuki and chiaki seem to already like you." He smiled "I didn't think I would make any friends when I came here to hopes peak but I see I was wrong about that." We all smiled "you don't just have friends but it seems you found a family too." He looked up at me shocked. "A family?" We all looked at him "you have us and we have already accepted you as family." He started to tear up. "Ive never had such a wonderful family since I was young. Thank you all of you." We all got up and hugged him "of course. We want everyone to feel accepted and loved so we usually adopt our friends who feel unloved and unaccepted. It's just who we are." We finished eating and made our way to the van. Me and kaede were talking and planning Nagito would also listen to the conversation. "Hey Nagito you seem like you would fit in well in many clubs." He looked at me. "I think I want to join the theater club." I smiled. "Great choice."
Animal behavior and mutations
Animals have become endangered from seekers. The only animals left alive are those domesticated all wild animals haven't been taught how to protect themselves from the seekers. Every living animal remaining have mutated. In a lab they mixed hunted blood with a small dog. A few days later the dog had mutated into a werewolf type being. Most animals have now mutated into were animals. They have still been domesticated since that is what they are used too. The first were animal was created back in 2039.
