An: A thousand reads?! I love you guys. Have a lemon on the house. Sorry if you don't like lemons. Just skip it. It's right after Jacks section.

You slid around another corner at a run. Luckily the Helios facility was fully equipped with weaponized oz kits because you had passed through three rooms with breaches and you had several yet to go. You were really trucking it through the halls which was why it surprised you when the gravity suddenly turned off and you started to float. You took out a device in your pocket that created a pocket around you. You hit the ground once more and hard, almost from the ceiling which was about eight feet up.

Winded, you took a couple minutes to compose yourself before moving on. There were panicked people all across the station who had no clue what to do about this and since you had lived through Zarpedon several times, you felt like it was up to you to fix things. You stood back up only to run into someone who was coming through the doorway at the exact moment you were trying to leave through it. He, yes you were sure it was he based on the smell of cologne, caught you and pulled you back up to eye level. You were immediately grateful to be spared yet another fall today. Then you met his eyes.

"MORDECAI?!"

"(Y/N)?!" You both started talking at the same time and he stopped told you to start at the same time you stopped and gestured for him to go. He took a breath. "I woke up...I remembered. Took me longer this time, but I finally got clearance to come up here on a visit. I figured this was where you'd be. What can I do to help?" No judgement. No anger at what you had done to the both of you or his friends. You kissed Mordecai, a short, sweet thing that pulled the two of you close for a heartbeat.

"We need to get command center and find a way to seal all these holes before more people die. The pressure-" He waved his hands.

"Spare me the science talk. Just tell me what I can do for you." He looked good as a teenager. Brave. Not yet gripped by alcohol. Very much alive and well. You liked that look for him.

The control center was one of the breached rooms and much to your dismay, a lot of the atmospheric things like life support were starting to fail. You needed a technician. "Just hit it." Mordecai suggested. "It's worked for me in the past, vault hunting and stuff you know. Sometimes it just takes brute force." You shrugged. The panel was pretty much destroyed. There wasn't much more harm you yourself could really cause to it. You gave the broken panel a good smack and it predictably sparked threateningly.

Then, as if there were a god listening to your frantic thoughts, it hummed back to shaky life. You heaved a sigh of relief and slid to the floor. "No one's going to suffocate. At least not anyone else." You added darkly, remembering all the spaced corpses.

Jack stood wearily to survey the situation. After getting his lover to medical he had gone back out to locate his oddball sibling, only to not find her anywhere. Giving up, he went back to check on his woman. He had a suspicion she was pregnant, but wanted her to tell him with her own words rather than take that away from her.

She stirred uneasily in her sleep, the wound on her head from being knocked into a table corner sleeping through her bandages. There was nothing to be done about that. The medical staff was tasked to full capacity just taking of the people who had not died immediately. At least someone had had the good sense to go and seal the breaches. How they mage through all the torn up rooms, Jack didn't know but bless them anyway.

He shook himself. If his sister was still alive after all this, he was going to apologize for not being there at all these past few weeks. She had supported him. Faced all kinds of horrible things for him that she couldn't share for the trauma of it. And he had just the way to strengthen their bond in mind. He had discovered a vault. Together, they were going to open it. Together. Then Jack's child would have a good, rich future. They'd never have to work or endure the abuse he had.

You weren't sure what caused it. But here you were kissing Mordecai with your shirt off. His hands down your pants. It had been a long time coming if you were truly honest with yourself.  You unbuttoned his jeans and slid his goggles back to look him in the eyes. Then he pulled your pants off and you jumped on him, legs around his waist. The kissing was hard, pent up. A hint of desperation.

You giggled. "Something funny?" Mordecai replied huskily.

"I'm laughing because the first time we did this, we were adults and now we're teenagers again!" He shared a chuckle and kissed you again, softer.

"Once again...it's our first. I'll be gentle." And he entered you slowly. Carefully. You could feel him pressing against your barrier before he gently tore through. "I love you. Thank you for giving me your first both times." And he started thrusting. Your writhed on his hips as he bucked you into the wall. His pace grew rougher and rougher. Stars built behind your eyes from blind, golden pleasure and then you came as one. For a while you panted before sliding to the floor and pulling apart. Then you remembered.

"Shit! I've got a date to kill someone!" He quizzically raised an eyebrow as you hurriedly got dressed.

"Well you're not going alone. Never again. Give me a minute to get my rugged good looks in place."
