*buzz buzz*
"Gilla, phones away." My math teacher said, causing everyone to turn and look at me. I could feel my face turning red. "Sorry." I mumbled. I looked down at my phone, unlocking it to read the message before I was caught.

David is taking meh out 4 pizza after skool. Have 2 cancel our study sess 4 tonite. Sry. Kisses.💋
I sighed, and locked my phone, slipping it back into my pocket. I felt it buzz again.

So ur going 2 read my message nd not txt BAK???????!!!!!!!!!👊
I rolled my eyes. Darby was always so anal about that type of stuff.
Did I just say that.
Oops.
Before I could text back, I felt a presence in front of me. "Gilla, what did I say? Put. It. Away." My teacher said. I shyly nodded and mumbled an apology. Just then, the bell rang. Which signaled the end of the day. Saved by the bell.
Isn't that a TV show.
Idk.
I gathered my things, and walked out into the hallway. I started to walk over to the side doors, when I felt someone brush against my arm.
"Hey Gilla." A deep, raspy voice said.
I turned my head to see David, Darby's boyfriend, standing there.
"Umm, hi?" I said, shuffling my books in my hand awkwardly.
"Can I talk to you?" He asked. I nodded slightly as we both walked outside. We stepped aside to we were near the brick outside of the school. "What's up?" I asked. Suddenly, he had my pinned up against the wall, his arms on either side of my face holding me there. "I just wanted to say that I'm sorry if you feel like I'm taking Dar away from you." David said, leaning in closer. I shifted uncomfortably. "Uhh. Your really close to me." I said, my voice shaking. Before I could say another word, his lips crashed into mine. I struggled to move. "Hey! David, lay off!" I heard a familiar voice shout. David moved and scowled. Jana pushed past him. "Are you okay?!" She said, pulling me away from David. I didn't say anything. I just kept walking towards my bus.
*later in the evening*
I sat on my bed in my fuzzy blue slippers and gray sweats. I was on my laptop finishing up some writing on Wattpad, when I felt my phone buzz.

You okay? I can't believe what a dick he is! We can't tell Dar though. It will break her heart.
To: Jana 👭💕
I'm not going to tell her..
I locked my phone and put it on my bed. I felt it buzz again after a few minutes.
I picked it up and looked at the screen. I expected it to be Jana, but it wasn't.
