13. Somewhere, Somehow

Kat's POV

What happened to Dom and I? I knew we were in this together but it seems we have gone our separate ways again. We haven't heard from each other for how many months. It all started during the New York con. I knew I hurt her again by tagging Ray along especially when she and Mel saw us kissing in the hotel hallway, but it wasn't what they thought it happened. I was also surprised when Ray pulled me for a kiss when he saw Dom and Mel were coming near us. I tried to pull back but he grabbed me and held me so tight I wasn't able to move. He just released me when he knew Dom and Mel were already gone.

Flashback

Dom was aware that Ray will be tagging along for our New York con, as part of his requests before we process our divorce. Little did I know that Ray had his own devilish and selfish plan to separate Dom and I.

I sent an imessage to Dom before we arrived at the hotel to let her know that Ray is with me and to assure her to not worry about anything because Ray was just here as part of our divorce agreement and nothing is for real. I also told her that I can't wait to see, kiss and touch her again. I tried to curl my hair for Dom and I can't wait to see her reaction.

When we arrived at the venue, I saw her wearing a tangerine top and chequered pants that really suits her. She didn't see me because she was facing Mel and Emily, but for some reason she looked back and our eyes met. She gave me her sweetest smile and hearty moon eyes and said, "Whoa...babe. You're soo beautiful is an understatement!" I stopped and flustered. She left Mel and Emily and walked towards me. I asked her shyly, "Did you like it?" She touched my hair and looked me in the eyes and said, "Really, Kat? Of course I like it. No... I love it. It really looks good on you baby." My heart skipped from beating and can't help myself but to pull her for a tight hug. It didn't really matter if there are people around us. What matters is just the two of us. I also didn't care if Ray will see us because I've already made it clear with him to leave Dom and my family out of our dramas together. And also, I knew he went out to see his friends nearby. Dom and I stayed in that position for God knows how long, we only got separated when Emily and Mel came to us and teased us in unison, "Hey guys, just so you know, you were not the only people in this room. Care to even acknowledge us?" We both apologised and gave each of them a hug.

During the panel, I felt Dom was a bit more closer with Mel than me. It's not that I am jealous because I know their closeness. It just that I missed being near to her, I missed touching her. Thank God, there was one topic during the panel where we discussed where will Nicole and Waverly live after the wedding. Mel pretended to be Wynonna, talked to Dom as Waverly said something along the line "I will make things difficult for you (Waverly)." When I heard it, I used it to jump into conversation, so I can get closer and touch the love of my life. I defended Dom (Waverly) over Mel (Wynonna) with a flirty tone, "I am your (I was pertaining to Waverly) lover, and I will make things difficult for you (I was pertaining to Wynonna)." People were clapping and shouting after what I said. I also felt it in my bones because it's true, I am her lover IRL and I will do everything I could to protect her at all cost. We may not able to share it to the whole world as of yet but I know deep in my heart and soul, our time will come.

Our panel has ended and we agreed that all of us will go to the Earpers Square where we can spend our time with the Earpers. Before I went ahead to my room, I asked Dom if I can talk to her which she gladly accepted. We went to her room, which is 3 doors away from my room. The moment she closed the door, I grabbed and pulled her closer to me. I looked into her eyes asking for permission if I can kiss her. She didn't reply, she just grabbed my nape and pulled me closer to her enough for our lips to me touch. We started it slow and we smiled in every kiss. Our lips sync and our kiss deepened and started to get heated and passionate. We heard each other eliciting soft sexy moans and I can't help myself let her know in between kisses how much I missed her and everything about her. I can't take it any longer, my underwear is already soaking wet from the heat and pool of arousal Dom is giving me.
