"As you can see, this is the cerebrum. The largest part of the brain, accounting 85 percent of organ's weight. The cerebrum has two halves or the hemisphere." Our professor held the well preserved brain from one of the cadaver in the university. She pointed out the two divided parts of the brain.
"The 2 hemisphere is further divided into four lobes, the frontal lobes is behind the forehead, are involved with speech, thought, learning, emotion, and movement. Behind them are the parietal lobes, which process sensory information such as touch, temperature, and pain. At the rear of the brain are the occipital lobes, dealing with vision. Lastly, there are the temporal lobes, near the temples, which are involved with hearing and memory." She further discuss the topic. When I was 1st year med student, it was fascinating to see what inside our body. How every cells work together to keep us alive. To let as breathe and experience what life could offer. It was all curiosity. We were curious and enchanted by the science. And well, curiosity killed the cat.

"I'm so tired!
Mas mauuna pa yata akong maging pasyente bago maging doktor!" Reklamo naman niya.
"Kita ko nga, mamsh! Ang haggard mo na!" Tumawa ako. Nagpapadyak siya sa inis.
"Hindi pa naman ako naligo ngayon!" Sambit niya na ikinatigil ko. Huminto naman siya at tumingin saakin.
"Same!"
His eyebrows were furrowed and his jaw was moving, indicating that he was memorizing. His side profile took my breath away. His nose was perfectly sculpted.
"Oh Hi Hera and....Astherielle." His mesmerizing eyes and shy dimple on his left cheek melted my heart. He smile to me. I mean, us.
Hera pinched me on my left hip kaya halos mapatalon ako.
"H-Hi!" I stuttered. Walang hiya ka, Hera! He only nodded at bumalik na ulit sa pagbabasa.
"Mukha kang tanga girl!"
"Nahalata ba niya?" Tanong ko pabalik. My heart was beating so fast at nagsisimula na din pumawis ang kamay ko.
"Ewan! Masyadong bato yan si Thaddaeus eh! Halos lahat yata ng med students, mapa seniors or freshmen niluluhuran siya! Pero ano? Wala! Nganga! Study first, before you enter the kingdom of love yata ang motto niyan eh!"
