"PAULINA!DANNY!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.
"WEVE MISSED YOU TWO!" They said and we all group hugged.
"I am so excited this year, especially to see you know who." PAULINA said referring to her boyfriend.
"Well I am glad TYLER is gone." DANNY said smirking and we laughed.
"What? it's true." She said curiously.
"We know that's why we find it funny." We said and walked into the school.
Fortunately enough we all had top lockers together, which was awesome and most of our classes.
Someone had walked up behind me and put their hands over my eyes so I had to guess.
"Welcome to HIGJSCHOOL babe." I knew that voice. Brandon. Brandon was my best guy friend and I always went to him with something tragic all the time. He would always tease me with pet names and mess with me. I loved it. Every minute of it. I also was beginning a crush on Brandon.
"Oh hey Brandon." I said and he pulled me in for a hug and I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him back.
"How's football so far?" I asked him looking up at his tall frame.
"It was a bust last year. We had a terrible team." He said. That could not be more true.
"Well what's your classes?" I asked him.
"I have PE first period with Mr.White and that's all I can remember." He said laughing.
"Hahaha dude we have PE together yay!" I said clapping my hands together like an idiot.
"Can't wait to see you in a swimsuit." He said and walked off.
This boy keeps me dazed. My body reacts to his words by becoming ignited with heat I didn't know I could produce.
"I am so hung up on Brandon." I said walking back to Paulina and Danny.
"Yea I would agree...but he better know his boundaries or I'll beat him like Nick." Paulina said d cracking her knuckles together and I laughed.
"I don't know why you like him. Why like boys?Their like a thing that wastes air." Danny said disgusted. PAULINA and I laughed and we all started walking to PE.
We had to swim on our first day so I brought a black nike bikini TAHT was made for athleticism and I Didint look so slutty with a regular bikini.
I tied my long hair back into a ponytail and walked out, and someone caught my eye.
"Paulina! That's Nick..."I said my heart rate increasing.
I hadn't seen Nick since we broke up. But I was in love with Nick so much and he was to at one point then got sick of me.
I would always see him around sometimes when my friends would talk to him so I just immediately left. There was no point into talking to him. But a part of me longed to hear his voice and see his face.
I've moved onto Brandon who I like a lot and would consider going out with. He seems perfect. He's hilarious and knows just how to say the right things.
When I looked over to Nick he was already starring at me, and looking at my body. It killed me not to want to go up and kiss or talk to him since he left for highschool. It has been a full two years since Ive talked to him. Two years. A lot has probably happened in two years. Some random girl had walked up to him and placed her lips square on his. I nearly gasped and when she kissed him he looked at me while kissing her. Dick.
"Can we switch classes?" I asked PAULINA when she came out.
"No...im sorry babe." She said and I just rested my head on her shoulder.
"What's wrong now." DANNY said walking over to us, then looking at Nick, and then back at me.
"Oh..." She said and hugged me.
"Yes but whatever he goes for hoes." PAULINA said and I laughed and we walked over to the PE teacher.
"You guys will be in groups of three, but I have written the our for you. No complaining." He said calling out the groups.
"Paulina,Danielle,Parker." He said and PAULINA was happy. She got DANNY and her boyfriend. Lucky shit.
"Kat,Brandon, Nick." And my heart dropped. Why Nick? Why me? Why now? I said and Brandon strode over to me.
"Hey girl." He said playing with my hair, and I laughed.
"Sorry he's in our group...I know your not very fond of him..."He said looking at Nick coming our way.
"It's fine...Ill be fine..." I said and Nick walked over standing awkwardly and I just stared at the ground not saying a word.
