Chapter 14

It was the night of homecoming. Nick hadn't officially asked me yet, and so I had just assumed we were going together.

I mean he hadn't officially asked me, but Paulina has been asked by NICO today so that left just me and my boyfriend plus Danielle with her real date.

Thank god school had gone by quick, so Paulina and Danielle came over to my house to get ready and go have a sleepover afterwards since my mom isn't even gonna be home for my homecoming. All I know is my brother is staying the night at his friends so I am thankful it will be just us and my small two story.

Luckily Jordan also found a girl to go with. Her name was Brooke. She was the kind of shy girl, who was really pretty, but not very talkative. I am surprised Jordan had asked her. I mean, he would normally try a cheerleader type.

I guess breakups have different effects on people.

Or maybe he finally had a change of heart for once. Nah.

"Are YALL ready for this?" I said trying to pronounce YALL like a country girl.

"Hell yea we are." Paulina said.

"Eh I guess this is gonna be fun." Danny said trying to not sound excited but we knew she was.

We all started our makeup and then began to curl our hair.

"I will straighten my hair it's always so damn curly all the time." PAULINA complained into the mirror," and then curl the ends I'll look so hot." She said and I laughed.

"Well I don't know what to do with my hair." Danielle said.

"Wave it." I said curling my long hair into long curls.

I attempted to braid it as a headband braid and it actually looked pretty. Paulina helped me make it look better which I than her for that.

"Well let's go get our dresses on!" I said walking out of the bathroom with paulina and Danielle following.

"Oh shoot." I said.

"What?" They asked me.

"Garfunkel is on my dress." I said motioning to my fluffy pure bred Persian kitten that was orange and chubby and fluffy. My perfect dream cat.

"Well damn that cat." Paulina said since she was a dog person.

"Cats are evil." DANEILLE said.

"And your a cat hater so shush." I said to both of them shooing my fluff ball away.

I slipped on my strapless bra, and put on my dress. My mom was at work again and my brother had went to a friends house so there was no way to get there. We were to walk in the cold night.

"You guys ready?" I said as they all adjusted themselves.

"Ready." Paulina said with a big smile probably because NICO was her date.

"Yea sure." DANNY said then a smile creeped across her face and we left my room.

"Okay got everything before we live? Phone? Money?" I asked grabbing my phone off the counter.

"Oh wait. Lets take a picture my mom wanted us to send her a picture of us before we leave." I asked setting my phone on a shelf that could take a picture of us all.

I set the timer for it and we posed, and then got the picture.

"Aw that's so cute." Paulina said.

"I'm the most gorgeous." Danielle said with her arrogant fake ness.

I sent it to my mom and we took one last selfie before we left.

"Okay we're good." I said.

I opened up the front door and cursed.
