Josie: hey guys! Are you excited for the show tomorrow?
Maia: ya totes. wbu u? my dad's buying me coke b4 da show.
Josie: I'm super excited. I can't wait to preform my new single, Truth Hurts. I love the part when I sing, "100% that kid." It really shows off my vocal range and goes well with Johns falsettos.
Maia: ok dork. i get it u luv music but no need to talk about it 24/7.
Josie: Maiaaaaaaaa, cmon you know you love me.
Maia: ya i do luv u ❤️.
Josie: okay gotta you, my sisters calling. Bye!
Maia: tell kaycee that i love her.
Josie: will do. Bye!
As Josie walked downstairs, she smelled the aroma of sweet strawberries being blended. I walked up to Kayce and sat next to her. She smiled and held me hand while looking out the window.
"Maia wanted me to tell you she loves you." I said quietly. She smiled faintly and her eyes glazed over.
"Tell Maia I love her too." She whispered. Kaycee started becoming quiet after Dan said he didn't want to be friends. We've taken her to multiple doctors, but nothing to do the trick. Kaycee squeezes my hand once more and went to get my costume.
Mom walked in and started doing my makeup. I closed my eyes and breathed in the blush.
"Ready for the show?" Kaycee asked. I laughed lightly and opened my eyes.
"Let's do it." I said.
