"No, no, no, no, no." I muttered. I looked around trying to take in my surroundings. I stood up, realizing I could walk fine. As I tested my leg, I heard a faint sound. I looked down, and realized how soft my surface was. Strange, I thought, but still took a step.

The more I walked, the louder is became, but still so faint. I saw my mother holding my father's hands. She laughed at something he said and walked ahead. I tried to catch up to them, but my mother turned around, shook her head, and kept walking. Confused, I slowed my pace down.

The sound became louder, somewhat resembling, 'I got a feeling.' I saw a little girl run into another girl's arms. The little girl was picked up, but when she turned to look at me, she was Kaycee. The Kaycee I met in my dream. She giggled and pointed at me. The older girl looked at me, she looked about 19. She smiled at me and mouthed to the little girl, "don't stare at our sister, she'll be yours soon enough."

She set down dream Kaycee, who ran to a woman and a man, and looked just like her. A man I'd never seen walked up to older girl. He tried to take her hand but she shook her head, smiled, and walked away from him towards my parents and dream Kaycee's parents.

I tried to run to them, but they seemed farther and farther away. The music decreased, and I became more and more alone. I recalled a book I once read, and stopped. I thought about the music, and went towards that.

It got louder, but I couldn't see it. I started to jog, then to run, then to sprint. My leg started to hurt again, and I wanted to give up. Something about the music kept me going. I got to the edge, but noticed there was nothing at the bottom. Something told me I needed to go down, so I jumped. I jumped for hope, I jumped for curiosity, and I jumped for the future.

Hey there Delilah

That sounded like Alana. I looked up,  I was in an empty concert hall, except for all of my teammates. They stood singing, harmonizing.

What's it like in New York City?
I'm a thousand miles away
But girl, tonight you look so pretty

Yes, you do

Times Square can't shine as bright as you
I swear it's true

Hey there Delilah

Don't you worry about the distance
I'm right there if you get lonely
Give this song another listen

Close your eyes

Listen to my voice, it's my disguise
I'm by your side.
Oh, it's what you do to me

Oh, it's what you do to me

Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, it's what you do to me
What you do to me

Suddenly, the pain in my leg didn't feel so bad.

"Hey there Delilah, I know times are getting hard." I sang out.

"But just believe me girl, someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar." Egan sang while coming out to grab my hand.

"We'll have it good. We'll have the life we knew we would. " We all harmonized. I laughed and smiled at Egan. He held my hand about his head and I noticed something on my ring finger. The second I tried to look closer, I was back in my room.

"Where was I?" I questioned myself. One thing I realized, music is my life. Kidz Bop is my joy. Why would I give this up? I saw Kaycee whispering to someone, but when I turned my head, I realized no one was there. Then, Kaycee ran into my room.

"Oh thank god you're awake, are you okay?" She asked while putting her hand on my forehead. I took her hand into mine.

"No, but I will be soon." She smiled lightly and gave me a hug.

"Your friends made you a video." She said, handing me an iPad. I pressed play, and listened. I smiled as I listened, and got ready for my life that was happening right now. I  I turned to Kaycee.

"Love you?" She asked.

"Love you." I affirmed.
