Feight's POV

December 24, 2014

I woke up when the snow falling heavily. Everyone's stranded in this town again.

I went to the kitchen and made my own hot chocolate and grabbed a ginger bread.

It's December 24. Ahhhh!!! I can't wait for Christmas. I love the celebration, the turkey, the snow, everything about it!

"Feight!" Mom called out.

"Yeah?"

"Do not go out today, okay? The weather is horrible." Mom said. Stating the obvious.

"Not a problem to me. Why don't you just tell that to Thea?"

Thea is my sister. She's just six years old and very hyper. She loves snow as much as I do.

Then, the phone started to ring.

"Go get it." Mom commanded. She's in the kitchen. Baking something.

"Fine." I said and jumped on the telephone.

"Thompson's Residence." I said.

"Feight?" I know this voice. I have memorized this voice. I used to love this voice. "Feight, this is Michael."

"I know."

Michael cleared his throat. "I'm going home."

No. Why? He ended it. Just because he went to Australia and tried living in a new country. New nation. New people.

"So?" I said.

"I want to see you."

"Why?"

"Come on, Feight. You know how much I love you." He said over the phone. Even though he broke up with me over the phone too. "Just give me another chance please."

"You made it clear, Michael. That you're done with me. You were clearly the one who ended what we had. I'm sorry. I can't give you that chance."

"No pl-"

I hung up before he could say some more. I don't want to hear him anymore. I don't want to see a glimpse of him. I have moved on and am happy. Right? I'm sure I don't need him anymore.

Even then, he was my first boyfriend. My first love. My super cool and jaw dropping crush.

I remember his hair. He always dyes it with different color. And his voice. The most beautiful one.

Oh shut those thoughts up, Feight. You know he's not worth it. So just forget him and be happy. It's Christmas.

I put a smile on my and grabbed my coat.

"Mom, emergency!" I shouted.

"No, Feight! You're not going anywhere, okay?"

"Please. Joyce and Syra would also go to Ashley's place. Please let me. I'll be home soon."

"Did Ashley call?" Mom asked.

"Yep. That was totally her, Mom." I lied.

Mom eyed me skeptically. I know it's Christmas and I shouldn't have lied. But I have to see my bestfriends now. Like NOW.

"Fine. Just be here at 3pm. Okay?" Mom said. "You got to help me here. Some of our relatives would be coming tonight."

I grinned, "Yes, Mom." I pecked her on her cheeks. "Be back at 3. Thanks."

Then, I immediately texted my girls

Ashley's place. Now. xx

I put my favorite beanie on and everything that would protect me from the cold.
