Yoongi was okay with staying in the shadows; the big men he was forced to coexist with in his facility were down-right terrifying.

However, they all steered clear of him, which confused him.

Yoongi was small and pale and he looked like he couldn't hurt a fly. But still, he was supposed to be the terrorist Min Yoongi—the Min Yoongi that betrayed his family and friends and bombed his own house, not the Min Yoongi who worked at an animal shelter because he liked to pet the soft puppies.

Maybe he looked dangerous in a small, scrawny, psycho sort of way, like when people feared children's dolls for no good reason. Yoongi kind of appreciated that.

The guards, too, seemed to avoid him. They let him get his food first and they didn't really handle him the way they did the other inmates.

For one thing, they didn't man-handle him or rough him up, probably because he looked like he could easily snap in half. The other guys were at least at an average-looking weight.

From how small he was, he would've thought he would've been assaulted at least once by now.

It didn't happen.

But when it was time to shower—there were no curtains—the other inmates looked at him oddly, throwing looks to their friends.

That scared Yoongi. He'd heard of rape happening in prison.

Here, no one seemed to care about that sort of thing.

Although the food was absolutely horrid, Yoongi found himself looking forward to mealtimes.

He had made a friend.

Still, he ate alone, but the only dialogue he ever got was with the cook, Kim Namjoon. That guy's food sucked, but Yoongi enjoyed talking to him.

Namjoon wasn't an inmate; he was hired as a cook, so he got to go outside.

The guards didn't let terrorists go outside.

Yoongi wanted to go outside.

He didn't even know what season it was and he just wanted to lay on the grass with . . . with his dog, Holly.

Yoongi didn't want to think about Holly. He found himself crying every time he did, and couldn't cry in prison.

His beautiful Holly . . .

God, he missed his puppy.
