Yoongi really missed his family.
He remembered the days when he was small, when he was loved by his parents. The days when the thought that their son could be a terrorist hadn't ever once entered their minds.
So, how were they so quick to stop believing in him?

"Appa!" Yoongi squealed happily, clapping his little hands as his father gave his toy boat a funny voice. "Boats can't talk!"
"Yeah, they can, pumpkin; they're just shy, that's all."
"Oh..." Yoongi whispered in awe. "I didn't know that. Can cars an-and airplanes do that, too?"
Appa ruffled Yoongi's hair. "They can if you want them to, Yoonz."
"Can they - Can they sing?"
"Of course they can! They just don't want us to know, so have to hush and not tell anyone, okay?"
"I can hush for the boats, Appa."
"Good." Appa gave Yoongi a high-five. "You wanna eat lunch, pumpkin?"
Yoongi squealed again, running to the kitchen and leaving his father in the dust.
The man just chuckled, soon following after.

His mom was a different story.

"Eomma?"
"What?"
"Hungry."
The woman sighed. She was on call for work and she was paranoid that she could get an important email the minute she decided to get her son a snack, which would be on the highest shelf on the pantry where Yoongi couldn't reach.
"Let's go, Yoonz." She took her son's little hand and led him to the kitchen.
As Yoongi happily began to pick out one of the snacks in the snack bin, she murmured to herself quietly, "I love you, but... is it worth it?"

Yoongi later realized that maybe his mother had been right.
Maybe he really hadn't been worth it.
