"What the hell, Yoongi? Why didn't you- "
"Fuck you," Yoongi snorted, "I can't fucking move and you can't be here to feed me every fucking day-"
"Sorry, I'm sorry, I forgot." Seokjin sat down hard on the bed and took Yoongi's hand. "Forgive me, please? I never wanted you to go hungry."
"I- I guess I can do that."
"And- and if you request me, the boss might let me feed you everyday."
"How do I do that?"
"Just make sure she knows you can't have Tuan. I'm the only other guard attending this corridor."
"O-okay."
"..."
"Seokjin?"
"Yeah?"
"What did I break?"
"Yoongi... your right arm is broken, your left wrist is fractured... the wounds on your back opened up again... and your right ankle is twisted."
"O-oh my god."
"You won't need the casts in about two months, but you have to take them off to bathe, where I'll be the only guard accompanying you."
"What happened to Jimin?"
"Yoongi- "
"What happened?"
"He wasn't hurt, but- but he was moved here. He's a few cells down, but I don't think he knows you're here."
"I'm hungry. Wanna eat."
"Okay, okay," Seokjin chuckled, feeding Yoongi a syrup-drenched pancake. "Eat well, Yoongi. Don't let anything get to you and you'll be okay... at least until... "
The silence from there on out was more uncomfortable.

"Seokjin?"
"Yeah?"
"You don't have to... walk on eggshells around me. It's okay... I know I'm going to die and I'm okay with that—"
Seokjin turned around and stood up, making Yoongi begin to frown, already feeling emotional just from having to talk about his inevitable future. "Why— why are you leaving?"
"I don't want to hear you talking about that, I— I can't—"
"Why?"
"I fucking care about you, okay? Is that— why is that so hard to understand?"
"Oh," Yoongi murmured quietly. This was the first time Seokjin had ever angrily cursed at him. "I didn't know. I'm sorry."
"You're sorry? What for?"
"I'll be going soon, won't I?"
"Going where?" Seokjin asked harshly.
"Heaven, I hope."
