"But don't expect me to be there for you when you do."

"W-what?" Yoongi whispered, suddenly hoarse. "Y-you can't— you can't mean—"

"If you break out of here, Yoongi, I will leave you."

"Y-you're joking... you want the best for me, you— you've always wanted the best for me..."

"But what about me, Yoongi?" Seokjin smiled, pained and crooked. "Have you never thought about me?"

"I..."

"If you break out... She..."

"Sh-she?"

Seokjin turned away harshly. "Nothing. Forget I said anything."

"... Why would you want to hurt me like this, Jinnie? You were mine. You saved me, and now..."

"So sorry for worrying about myself," Seokjin muttered sarcastically.

Yoongi sucked in a breath. "Please go. Finish your dinner elsewhere— I— I can't h-hold myself together—"

"Fine, then I'll go! You've already made your choice!"

"N-no— no— no— no— that's not—" Yoongi crumbled to the floor at Seokjin's feet. "You can't— you can't leave me!"

Seokjin was silent, looking at Yoongi with an expression he couldn't put a name to.

"N-not if— if you love me!" Yoongi was hysterical. "You can't leave me— p-please don't leave!"

"Stop acting like a child, Yoongi. You are selfish and I can't believe I fell in love with you... I should have broken up with you before now." Seokjin looked pissed and Yoongi never wanted to have that expression pointed at him ever again.

"Don't leave me, baby," Yoongi whispered. "I'll do whatever you want, I— I..."

"I don't want anything from you."

Yoongi hoped that at least if Seokjin loved him, he wouldn't walk out on their relationship— "Baby..."

"Goodbye, Yoongi. Good luck getting out of this shithole without me."
