A few days later.
Todoroki's POV
It was Friday afternoon, and the air was filled with unbreakable excitement.
I sat on the couch in the common room with Izuku, Uraraka, Lida and Tsu, the other four having a conversation about the night ahead of them.
"This is going to be so much fun!" Uraraka exclaimed, jumping to her feet. "My Papa used to take me ice skating when I was younger, but we don't do that anymore." When she finished, her voice took a sad turn.
Lida smiled, and gestured with his hands at an inhuman speed. "That's wonderful, Uraraka. And I am honoured to be able to share this moment with most of my good friends."
Izuku nodded in agreement, smiling to himself with nervousness.
"What's gotten you so nervous, Ribbit?" Tsu asked Izuku, who's face turned red at the sudden attention.
"O-Oh! It's nothing, really. I'm just feeling really stupid." He said, rubbing the back of his neck.
I put my arm around his shoulders protectively. "You're not stupid, Izuku. I'm sure that whatever it is isn't something to get embarrassed over."
He wrapped his arm around my waist and mumbled into my sweatshirt.
"It is," he sighed, and I bought my hand up to play with his green hair. "It is embarrassing."
Uraraka smiled and jumped again, and I half expected her to accidently activate her quirk and float into the moon. "Please tell us, Deku-Kun!" she begged. "We won't judge you!"
Izuku stuffed his face into my shirt and murmured something no one could hear.
"What?" Uraraka said, confused.
"Speak up, Izu," I encouraged, shifting away from him. "And stop mumbling into my shirt."
Izuku groaned and sat up straight, hands covering his face.
"I-I don't know how to skate. . ." he admitted shyly.
I shifted closer and wrapped my arm around his shoulders again. "Me neither. I guess we'll figure it out together, huh?"
Izuku smiled and nodded at me. "I guess, but you have the advantage of having great balance while on slippery surfaces because of your ice quirk," he covered his face again. "I'm probably gonna fall and break my neck the moment I step onto the ring. I'm such an embarrassment!"
I frowned and grabbed his chin gently with my hand, making him look at me. "D-Don't . . ." I swallowed a lump in my throat, regaining myself. "Don't say things like that."
Izuku looked up at me guiltily, and leaned in and kissed my lips softly. "Sorry, Shouto."
I sighed and hugged him, rubbing his back. "It's okay, Izuku."

Bakugou's POV
We were finally on the public bus heading into the city.
I was sitting next to Izuku, who was only sitting down in the first place because Todoroki told him to stick with me while he helped an elderly woman hold a box of adorable kittens. He was stationed with her on the opposite side of the bus, smiling while the kittens bit softly at his fingers. The sight kind of made me jealous.
Sighing, I turned my head around and risked a glance at Izuku, who had his eyes closed with his head resting against the window. He looked . . . peaceful.
However, there was a hint of pain and worry on the curve of his brows, and the look made me want to shift closer and hug him until all his problems go away, similar to what he did with me.
