Todoroki's POV

Hearing Bakugou say those things stripped me of my little mental stability, and I found myself trembling as I ran out of the room, feeling sick.

I took a left and continued down the hallway, out of view of the bathroom door and away from the ice ring and into one of the changing rooms that the building had for when ice hockey games were being held.

I went to the sinks they had and gagged, vision blurry and my stomach aching. Clear fluid came from my mouth as I gagged again, my body trying to get the non-existent food out of my system.

"Shouto?"

I was sweating and struggling to stand when I heard my name, but I couldn't find the strength to turn and meet Izuku's worried eyes.

Instead, my body caved in and I hunched over the sink again, but instead of having clear fluid leave my mouth, all that came out was the sparkling crimson colour of blood.

I heard a gasp and felt a strong arm around my waist, steadying me.

I let go of the metal sink and let my head roll backwards onto Izuku's shoulder, all my energy drained.

When did I start to feel so weak?

Coughing, blood ran down my lips and I collapsed, falling backwards onto Izuku's warm body.

"Shouto!" Izuku yelled, lowering me to the ground and gripping onto my hand as I felt the remainder of my energy slip away.

Breathing became difficult and my limbs went numb, pain erupting in my stomach and back. My lips parted and my hand couldn't grasp Izuku's back as a thick fog rolled into my brain.

As I began to slip my eyes close, I felt Izuku turn me on my side into a recovery position, resting my head over his thighs and running his hand up and down my left arm in an attempt to comfort me.

"Try to stay awake, Shouto, please." he begged, but I was too far gone by then.

Letting out a deep breath, warmth entered my body and my eyes shut.

Right before I let the darkness take me, I heard Izuku's overwhelmed yell.

"Kirishima!"

And then all was silent. Dead.

Kirishima's POV

I sat down next to my best friend, who looked lost and filled with guilt.

Sighing, I put my hand on the blonde's shoulder, giving it an encouraging squeeze.

"It's okay, man," I reassured, trying to be positive when inside I was breaking down. "We all make mistakes and I'm sure Todoroki will forgive you. He's a really understanding dude."

Bakugou huffed a breath, feeling worse than before. "You really think so?"

My encouraging face cracked at the sound of Bakugou's trembling voice, and I wrapped my arm around him, pulling him close.

"I know so." I confirmed, trying to be hopeful and optimistic about the situation even though my attempts were pathetic.

Katsuki looked up at me, and I gave him a small comforting smile.

My smile fell, however, when I heard a panicked scream from down the hall.

"Kirishima!"

I was hyper-alert in an instant, already standing and in a fighting stance, the intense training from UA kicking in as if it were second nature. I looked over my shoulder and saw Bakugou doing the same, his face and neck littered with sweat.
