Bakugou's POV

Sunlight slipped through the opened curtain, painting the room with brightness and spreading across my closed eyes, causing me to groan and look the other way.

I stilled when I heard a soft laugh, and tensed when I felt a hand carefully play with my hair.

"It's okay, Kacchan," a sweet voice hummed, "It's me, Deku."

I released a breath at the words, one that I didn't know I was holding. Then just as quick as I relaxed, I tensed again and looked up, meeting the green-haired boy's gaze.

"No," I moaned, pushing my face into his neck. "Izuku, not . . . Deku."

Izuku's hand stilled in my hair, and I felt his breathing hitch against my cheek.

I opened my eyes and tilted my head, smiling at the grin that covered the freckled boy's face.

"Okay, Kacchan," he murmured, moving his fingers through my hair again. "Okay."

I was about to open my mouth and say something else, but I was interrupted by a knock on the door.

I groaned again in annoyance and slipped out of the warm bed, still wearing yesterday's clothes as I approached the door.

Just as I opened it, I was wide awake and snapped out of my post-sleep state.

"Bakugou," Aizawa stated, tired as usual. He peered over my shoulder, catching sight of Izuku, who was still in my bed. He seemed surprised and quickly glanced between us. "Midoriya."

We both tensed at his tone, and instantly knew what this was going to be about.

"How is he?" Izuku jumped from the bed, running towards us and clenching my arm, pressing himself into my side. "Please tell me he's okay."

Aizawa stiffened and looked lost for words, his eyes bouncing around the room. "He's awake," he claimed, however there was something else, something bad. "But he's very weak. Yesterday afternoon I headed to the hospital after receiving a phone call about Todoroki. Upon my arrival, they took me to his room and told me his vitals."

Both Izuku and I tensed, waiting for what he had to say next.

"Todoroki has been diagnosed with severe anorexia and depression," I nodded at his words, already knowing this. "The doctors have put him on a feeding tube after he refused to eat, and they are giving him nutrition through his IV."

I sighed at his words, because despite the bad news, Todoroki was going to be okay.

"Has his father been informed?" Izuku spoke up, voice quivering.

Aizawa looked towards Midoriya and nodded. "We called him this morning. He said that he would visit Todoroki during his break at noon."

Izuku tensed and ran into the room, grabbing his phone and checking the time.

He then grabbed my hands and pulled me out of the doorway and passed Aizawa. "It's 11:30 am," he panicked, fast walking. "W-We have to make sure he doesn't see Shouto."

I nodded but was suddenly stopped by our teacher and his capture rope. In one swift movement, he pulled us towards him and held us in place, eyeing us suspiciously.

"Why don't you want Endeavour to see Todoroki?" he questioned, eyebrow raised.

Izuku was frantically pulling at the restraints, his eyes watering. "B-Because!" he cried, breathing heavily. "It's Endeavour! It's his fault!"

Aizawa released Izuku from his hold, and the boy tumbled to the floor. "Explain."

Izuku huffed in thick breaths and looked up, tears running down his cheeks.
