Izuku got off the stage and sat down with his friends.

"Thank you, Midoriya, for that... unique speech..." Their public speaking teacher said while forcing himself to be polite. Izuku knew he didn't believe in ghosts, but whether you believed or not didn't matter so long as you completed the assignment. "Up next, we have..."

"I told you, you should've chosen a different subject matter," Katsuki whispered next to Izuku, drowning out the teacher.

"The assignment was to write and present a speech that you're passionate about, and this is what I'm passionate about," Izuku whispered stubbornly. Katsuki rolled his eyes.

"I wish you would have left out the parts about my home life..." Shouto whispered.

"Well, you won't let us go to the principal, so I thought sneaking it into my speech was a clever way of getting the authority involved," The greenette whispered with a small smile. The candy-caned head knew he was only trying to help but wanted him to stay out of it. So, he just sighed in defeat. Fortunately for him, the teacher didn't seem to take it seriously.

They turned their attention back to the stage when they heard the teacher clear his throat. They were so focused, they didn't even realize that it was Denki who was on stage. Well, all except for Eijirou, who was watching and cringing. It didn't take the others long to find out why.

"-And that is why Pikachu is, by far, one of, if not, THE best Pokemon of all time!" Denki finished with a big smile, waiting or everyone to applaud. When no one did, his smile quickly faded into a frown. "Hey! Even Izu- Er, Midoriya's speech got a little clap!"

The teacher made it a rule to only mention either a person's full name or last name while making a speech. Seeing as his speech was over, Denki really didn't need to correct himself.

"F*ck you! Mew's better!" A random voice called from the back.

"Who said that?!" Denki yelled. Before things could escalate any further, the teacher stepped in and got the blonde off the stage.

"I'm starting to miss Midoriya's ghost speech," the Teacher said under his breath, not realizing he was close enough to the microphone so everyone in the auditorium could hear him until it was too late. He then cleared his throat. "T-thank you, Kaminari for that... Interesting... Umm... Whatever that was supposed to be..."

He had completely lost his train of thought in his embarrassment, causing some of us to chuckle. Fortunately for him, the bell rang.

"Oh, thank God," He said under his breath, but again, he was close enough to the microphone so everyone in the room could hear him. As soon as he noticed, he cleared his throat again "I mean... Umm... Anyone who hasn't presented yet, you'll go tomorrow. So make sure you rehearse, and if anything needs to be changed now's the time. Class dismissed..."

They all walked out of the auditorium and headed for their main class. Public Speech and gym were the only classes they had where they had to move to different rooms before class, and nobody liked the long trek it took to get from one end of the school to the other.

"Man! I can't believe no one liked my speech!" Denki complained on the way back. "I mean, Pikachu is CLEARLY the best!"

"F*ck you! Mew's better!" Katsuki said with a smirk.

      Denki gasped. "That was you?!"

"Nah! I just like messing with ya." The angry blond ruffled his friend's hair. "Besides, everyone knows the best is Charizard."

"Oh yeah?! Well, does Charizard have a balloon in that American parade?! Does Charizard have his own movie where he's a detective?! I didn't think so!"

"Actually I've always liked Onix and Machamp, myself," Eijirou added with a playful grin.

"Lucario's my fav," Izuku chimed in with a smile.

"I like the Alolan Vulpix," Shouto added completely serious, not realizing that they were only messing with Denki.

"Scr*w you, guys!" Lightning head said with a playful, yet angered tone. The others just burst out laughing, except for Mr. Candy-cane who only chuckled.

"By the way," The duel-haired boy interrupted their laughter. "Our next break is coming up. Are we still on?"

The rest of them all nodded with grins.

This was going to be fun.
