It was the last day of school before the break and all the students kept staring at the clock on the wall. They could tell their homeroom teacher, Shouta Aizawa, was getting annoyed that no one was paying any attention to him because he cleared his throat, very loudly, multiple times.
"I understand that you all want to be free, but there are some last minute basics we need to go over," Mr. Aizawa said, but no one listened. Eventually he just let out a sigh, pulled up a sleeping bag, and flopped onto the floor.
It wasn't long after that the final bell rang and everyone scrambled to get their things. Izuku, Katsuki, Eijirou, Denki, and Shouto all met outside the school after changing their shoes.
"Oh, my gosh! I can't wait!" Izuku cheered as they all walked to the train station. "Tomorrow is going to be the BEST!"
"Don't you think you're getting a little ahead of yourself, Deku?" Katsuki asked with a smirk. He tended to give everyone nicknames, which actually sound more like insults. Izuku was Deku, Eijirou was Sh*tt* Hair, Denki was either Dunce Face or Pikachu, given Katsuki's mood, and Shouto was either Half-and-half or Icyhot, again, depending on his mood. They didn't really like these nicknames, but have pretty much gotten used to them by this point. "We leave tomorrow, but we won't even get there until the next day."
"I have my license if you want to take turns," Shouto jumped in, trying to help.
"Wow!" Eijirou looked impressed, "When did that happen?"
"About 2 weeks ago." The candy-caned hair pulled his new license out of his pocket. "See?"
"Awesome!" Denki jumped for joy. "That means we'll get there even quicker!"
Katsuki wasn't impressed. "'Only about 2 weeks ago'?! If you think I'm putting my life in your hands, then you're f*ck*ng CRAZY!"
Izuku stepped in between the two to keep them from fighting (which happens too often for any of their liking) "Guys, I think we should go with our original schedule," he said hoping to stop them. "Besides, we originally planned this with only Kacchan driving in mind, so we worked around that so that we could arrive around 5:00-6:00 and set up. We don't want to go too early, and it's already too late to reschedule everything just to drive at night."
Katsuki smirked. "See? Even the nerd agrees with me."
"Not really, I'm just-"
Shouto let out a sigh. "It's fine. If you do get tired, my offer's still up." He then walked past them and got onto the train.
"Well... At least we're finally gonna go, right guys?" Eijirou asked trying to lighten the mood. Kaminari and Izuku nodded, but Katsuki just tsked.
The four of them kept talking until Eijirou's train arrived and he left. Denki was the next to go. Izuku and Katsuki both road together since they lived in the same neighborhood. The blonde noticed the greenette wasn't talking very much, which was unusual.
"Look," The angry boy sighed, causing the freckled one to look up at him. "If it's bothering you that much, maybe... Maybe I'll let Icyhot drive for a few minutes..."
Izuku looked down, "Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to worry you. I actually wasn't even think about that at all..."
"Then what's the issue?" Katsuki seemed more annoyed than he did worried, but the green-head knew better.
He let out a sigh before looking back up at the blonde. "It's Mr. Yagi..."
"That again?" He sounded less angry this time. "Look, if you and your mom are both happy, then what's the problem? I'm sure your dad would think the same."
