Sometime, later...

"Long time no see, buddy." Sheppard's cheerful voice finally graced the Wraith's ear's after several excruciatingly long minutes.

"There is no t-i-m-e, for our normal pleasantries, S-h-e-p-p-a-r-d. Allow me through the gate, without further hesitation." A highly agitated Wraith voice responded over the open communications channel.

"We haven't heard a peep out of you in months. Now, suddenly  you want in, without explanation... You O.K., Todd?" The Coronals tone changed, when the Wraith started to make a tone-full gagging sound.

"I am... C-o-m-i-n-g, through. K-i-l-l, u-s... If you, m-u-s-t." The Wraith's broken voice responded painfully.

"Crap, lower the shield." Sheppard nudged the gate technician beside to him.

"Yes sir." He responded reluctantly.

"What the hell?" Sheppard picked his jaw up off the floor, when a near unconscious pile of Wraith leather tumbled through the gate, hardly a second after the shield was lowered.

"R-e-l-e-a-s-e, h-e-r." Todd hissed tone-fully, as his yellow eye's rolled backwards into his head. Everyone in the gate room was stunned and on high-alert. Doctor Keller was instantly notified, to examine the fallen Wraith.

"What is this?" Sheppard took an odd looking object from the unconscious Todd. The creature was still clutching the small organic device, when he was lifted onto a medical cart. The device started to beep, loudly, causing the shocked male to drop it on the floor.

"NOOOOOO-" A wailing sound filled the gate room, as a screaming human female appeared in sudden flash of blinding blue light. She gasped and looked around confused, before collapsing to the floor.

"That's, different." Sheppard grumbled. The human male approached the newly arrived female, with great caution. Merely to see, if she was still alive.

"Colonel Sheppard?" A mumbled voice whispered, as the woman's blue eye's rolled backward into her head.

"What the hell is going on here?" Sheppard questioned the doctor when both newly arrived form's started to convulse. Whatever aliment afflicted the Wraith, seemed to also effect his human companion.

"We need to get, them both, to Medical! Now!" Keller yelled, then moved to escort the second of the wheeled carts and several frantic Med-tec's down the halls of Atlantis.

*~*~*

"Welcome back. It's Amy, right?" Doctor Keller offered a sweet smile to the slight glimmer of blue she witnessed, in her patients eye. Vitals had been steady for hour's, and when the doctor ran the blood work, she came back as one of the cities missing crew members.

The file identified the unknown female as, Second Lieutenant Amy Torres, of the United States Marine Corps. According to file she enlisted at 19 and was currently 29 year's old. The descriptions matched, showing her at five foot, three inches tall, with blue eyes and brunet hair. The woman even had a scar, where the subcutaneous transmitter had been forcibly removed.

"Where?" The woman's dazed blue eye's looked around the cold metallic room confused.

"Your safe, here in Atlantis." Keller responded carefully.

"Who are you?" The groggy female turned to look Keller in the eye.

"Oh no." The doctor let out a small sigh and grabbed a radio, off the nearby table. "Coronal Sheppard can you please report to medical." After placing it down she turned back toward her patient with a big smile. "My name is Doctor Keller. Can you tell me what you do remember?"
