Joker kept scratching his forearm, trying to stop the tears from rolling. "Sure." He licked his lips, grinning at Harley. "I'm just gonna chill here since I don't have much to do, anyway." The clown stopped scratching as he noticed some blood running down his fingers. While trying to possess his twisted emotions, Joker wiped the blood away using a tissue paper.
Harley grinned as well, "If you say so." She noticed the blood on his arm. 'Is that his new way of coping with things?' She wondered to herself. "I guess I'll finish up the laundry, do you want anything washed?" She stood up and stretched.
Joker nervously looked at the floor for a moment, then at his arm. "Yeah, these things." I put out my coat as well as the tailcoat, revealing the part of his forearm where the skin and muscle started to look like he'd burnt it. It was itchy as hell, but the longer he scratched the more it started bleeding. The green-haired man was skinny enough without losing blood. "And don't you say a thing about this, okay?" Joker pointed at his forearm and shook his head as his eyes start to become filled with water again. Joker quickly thought about something funny, like blind babies, to get in a better mood.
Harley was quite concerned about Joker's arm, but she didn't question it, she figured everything seemed normal after awhile. "Yes, sir." She took his coat and tailcoat. "I won't say a thing, you have my word." She awkwardly smiled and head back to the laundry room and finish up. Harley tried to think of something to focus on other than Joker, oddly enough, she can't seem to think of anything.
Joker slowly walked over to the bedroom to take some more pain killers and vitamins for his blood, then used disinfectant to keep his forearm from getting infected. He grabbed some bandages and wrapped them around it before sighing, relaxed. "Feel better already." Joker threw on his pajamas that have some smilies, and 'put on a happy face' drawn on them, before walking over to the couch and sitting down, his legs shaking in exhaustion.
Harley took the clothes out of the dryer, walked into the bedroom, and started folding. "Today went better than I thought it would." She smiled and started to hum. "You clothes are on bed, Mr. J." She placed Joker's clothes on his side of the bed and put the rest in some drawers. She put on an oversized shirt and some shorts for pajamas then walked over to Bud to give him a belly rub.
