I wake up in a hospital bed. How'd I get here?. A nurse walks in and smiles when she see's me awake.
"Ah, Mr Riffin, you're awake, theres some one who want's to see you" She says, walking out. When the girl walks in, I gasp in happiness and shock. It can't be her!
"L- Laney? But I thought you-" I can't even finish it. I pull her in for a huge hug. She laughs.
"I told you not to work at that place, that's why neither me or the twins went" Laney say's, a big smile on her face. Wait, what?.
"But you were there with me, and the bear caught you guys and stuffed you in the suits" I blurt out quickly, surprising Lanes. She bursts out laughing.
"Didn't you hear Kin? he said that place gives you hallucinations of crazy things happening!" She says between laughs. Yah, he did mention that. I'm an idiot. Laney kisses me on the forhead. But the I remember.
"How did I get here? I remember passing out on a street". Laney chuckles, and then someone else walks in. Lenny.
"I was just having an early worning walk when I saw you on the ground. You looked dead, I kinda felt sorry for you, so I called the hospital and I called laney to" he explains. Wow, I never thought a Newman could be nice.
"Uh, thanks Lenny" I say. He shrugs.
"No biggie, just don't tell Carrie, she'd flip if she knew" He says before waving bye to us and walking out.
"Oh yeah Core, the people who work at the pizzeria heard what happened and still gave us the money" Laney says, handing me my credit card.
"I already got the money transfered into it, anyway, let's get out of here" She says. I hug her and kiss her on the lips quickly.
"Thanks Lanes" I say, getting up to get changed back into my usual clothes. Atleast I didn't lose my friends. I'm glad that they still have my back...
