Imagine being insecure about eating to much food during Christmas but Jay helps you feel better.

As everyone should know, Christmas time is where everyone is off for the Holidays, spending time with friends and family, eating a lot of delicious food, etc. At Auradon Prep, most of the students were staying with their families, while some stayed behind. You, along with the VKs were staying at Auradon Prep for the holidays.

You wanted to stay with Jay because one, you're dating, and two, you aren't on good terms with you family. [you don't have to go with this part for your character.]  Every year you go visit them, they're always judging you on your weight. Why? Because your parents want you to be their perfect child. It's really plain stupid to you. Why couldn't your parents just except who you are? Everyone is born in their own unique way. That's why you sometimes question yourself on how you ended dating Jay. He's told you many times that you shouldn't worry because he doesn't care about looks. You even once overheard him talking to Carlos about you.

[FLASHBACK]

You were walking back from your class to Jay's dorm. You wanted to go spend time with him before his practice. Once you were there by his dorm, before you could knock, you heard him and Carlos talking.

"So, how are things with you and Y/N?" Carlos asked.

"Everything is great, we're both happy, the only thing bothering me is that I wish Y/N would see that their perfect the way they are."

You, listening in, leaned your ear against the door to hear more.

"I know that when we first arrived here, I kinda came off as this playboy. Flirting with everyone, that all change when I met Y/N. I love them dearly, I'm saying this from a boy from the Isle who used to love to steal, flirt, and didn't believe in love."

"Why don't you just tell them, that this problem is bothering you?"

"I don't want to make them feel like I'm pushing them to not worry about their looks, it's their body, they can change whatever they want about them. I'll still love them either way."

At this point, tears were starting to fall from your eyes. It wasn't sad or angry tears. It was happy tears.  

[FLASHBACK END]

"Y/N, did you heard what I said?" Jay asked you, knocking you out of your thoughts.

"Hm, what Jay?"

"I had asked you if you wanted to go to dinner? They're serving the students who stayed a great feast in the cafeteria."

"Oh, yeah sure. Let's head there."

You took his hand and you both walked together to the cafeteria. Everyone was already seated, you two sat down next to Mal, Evie, and Carlos. All the food was already prepared on the table.

"You guys can dig in!" Fairy Godmother said.

Everyone started digging in the food, stuffing their faces. You looked at the food, starting to judge your body again. Jay seem to noticed you weren't grabbing hardly any food so he held your hand tight and gave you a soft smile. You gave a smile back, you didn't want him to worry more so you placed some food on your plate. You decided to put your insecurities aside for right now and enjoy the feast with your friends and boyfriend. Of course sometimes you might feel your insecurities coming back but Jay will always be there to get you through them.
