Imagine your Ben's twin and you propose to Mal at Cotillion.

It was day of cotillion. Everyone was spending their day mostly getting ready. All the spas, nails, and hair salons were booked all day. 

Being the child of the rulers of the school, you and your twin brother Ben were the first ones to be pamper with. 

After many hours passed, you and Ben were finally ready to attend. You were wearing a beautiful [gown/suit] of your favorite color(s) while Ben wore a royal blue suit with tailored gold embellishments. 

You were going to wear matching colors with your brother but you convinced the tailor to design your [gown/suit] into your favorite color(s). [a/n: if you don't want your gown/suit to be your favorite color(s), you can imagine that your gown/suit colors are matching with ben :)] 

You will be going to cotillion with your girlfriend of a long time, Mal. It's already going to be a special night but you wanted to make it even more special for Mal by asking her to marry you tonight. Ben, Belle, Beast, Evie, Carlos, Jay, Lonnie, Jane, and Fairy Godmother were the only ones who knew of your plan. You hoped everything goes well.

After picking up Mal from her dorm, you both headed down to Auradon's docks where cotillion was taking place on 'The True Love' (the royal Auradonian yacht). Fairy Godmother and Jane did a wonderful job organizing the place. 

Mal was wearing this beautiful glittery gown in Maleficent shades of purple. She looked stunning. You honestly couldn't keep your eyes off of her.

After a while of dancing and hanging out with friends, you decided now is the time to make your move. 

You signal to Ben you were ready. He nodded, whispering it to Fairy Godmother. Using her wand as an microphone, she said.

"May I have your attention please? Thank you. [Queen/King] Y/N has an announcement to make."

You removed yourself where you were standing, next to Mal, and headed up to the front where Ben, Belle, Beast Fairy Godmother, and Lumiere were standing.

Fairy Godmother gently handed you her wand for you to speak out of. You bowed to her, thanking her.

"Good evening everyone. Thank you all for coming out here tonight. My family and I really appreciated you all being able to make it."

The crowd gave you some claps, few loud cheers here and there. Mal was sort of confused on why you suddenly wanted to go up to speak, not knowing the plan. Evie was smirking behind Mal's back, thinking to herself, 'she's so clueless.' 

"For all of you wondering why I'm up here, well I have an announcement to make. Mal, can you please come join me up here?"

Everyone turned to Mal who was blushing. She nodded, moving from her spot.

You held your hand out for her which she gladly accepted, her hand now in yours.

"Mal, you know I love you right?" You asked, facing her.

Mal looked at you in awe, nodding at your question.

"When I look into my heart, I see only you. Every time I look into your eyes, I can see a reflection of the two of us and the life I hope we'll share together..."

You got down on one knee, sweeping Mal away. Mal held her hand over her mouth. Ben handed you a small dark purple ring box. You opened it, revealing a beautiful vibrant purple amethysts stoned ring with gold all around the portion of the ring.

You continued. 

"When I met you, I knew I'd met my match. It was only a matter of time until we arrived at this moment. I know my life will never be complete without you beside me to share it. So Mal, will you marry me?" 

Tears were flowing out of Mal's eyes. She nodded, shaking her head 'yes'.

"Yes, yes I will!" She choked out, wiping her tears.

You stood up, slipping the ring on Mal's finger. Then pressed your lips against hers'. She wrapped her arms around your neck as wrapped yours around her waist.

"Fnally! You know how badly I wanted to tell Mal but couldn't!" Evie said.

You and Mal pulled away laughing at Evie's fullness of you finally proposing to the girl you love.
