After Tyler leaves the palace, Gerard comes into his secret chamber, with Frank close behind on his shoulder.
When they enter, the man pulls out his book of sorcery.
"What's in the book, oh devious one?" Frank asked.
"The key to a lamp that contains an all-powerful genie!" Gerard exclaimed. "Once I have it in my grasp, worried about the Prince's suitors will be a distant memory. I'll have the entire kingdom at my mercy!"
"How do we get our hands on this lamp?"
Gerard opens the book and recites a magic phrase.
Rulers of the darkest night Grant us now a second sight Guards of storms and angry tides Show us where the lamp resides!
Suddenly, as the phrase was said, a voice fills the air.
The lamp you seek waits in the Cave of Wonders, beneath the Great Dune.
Frank gets excited.
"Simple enough! Thank you, spooky voice!"
But be warned, only the Diamond in the Rough may enter, the one whose worth lies deep within!
"And who is this Diamond in the Rough?" Gerard asked.
The voice reveals a vision of Josh.

When Gerard saw him, he couldn't possibly believe that a commoner could be the key to his plan.
"He's the Diamond in the Rough?"
Find the Diamond in the Rough and make sure he touches only the lamp!
Knowing the answer to his plan, Gerard smiled; evilly. He looks to Frank, flapping his wings.
"Once we've got that boy, we've got our lamp! And I will finally be Sultan of Moria!"
Gerard and Frank laugh wickedly as they leave the secret chamber.
