Okay, so fair warning. This is a long chapter since it counts as both the next chapter and a Christmas special. I was planning on doing a Mirio x Tamaki oneshot for the Christmas special but I'm not sure I'll have enough time to get in completely planned do it and written.

"Yo? Hey Bakugou, you paying attention?" Kirishima waved his hand in front of Bakuou's face, hoping to pull the blondes attention to him. Somehow, it actually worked."Yeah, yeah, dumbass, I'm paying attention" Bakugou lied. He really was just staring at the wall, his mind drifting every time he tried to make out what Kirishima was saying.
Kirishima rolled his eyes but smiled nevertheless, "You are such a bad liar but I'll pretend you were telling the truth." Kirishima pulled out his phone and scrolled through it, talking all the while. "So, I'm thinking, Kaminari and Mina are throwing a party on Christmas Eve and I think we should totally go."
"Ha! You think I'm actually gonna go to that," Bakugou questioned as he leaned forward to peer at Kirishima's phone. Both of the boys were sitting in Kirishima's room, still in their night clothes and wrapped in blankets even though it was well into the afternoon. Around them sat snacks that they'd been working on since the early morning. Behind him, the tv played The Polar Express, it's white lettered subtitles displayed across the bottom of the screen even though neither boy was watching it. It was a normal day. Two high school boys just sitting around and being as lazy as they were allowed.
"I'm not gonna make you go but I thought it would be cool for us both to go, you know. Like a bonding experience or something like that," Kirishima said, looking up at him with a pout.
Bakugou shook his head, "Now don't you make that face at me, you're not gonna get anything out of that."
Kirishima sighed, "Dang it. It works on my Mom so I figured it would work on you too."
"Well, I ain't ya Mom," Bakugou said matter of factly as he popped a chip into his mouth. With a groan, Kirishima leaned back and fell against the floor, his eyes turning up toward a the smooth, white ceiling. "Why don't you just go yourself," Bakugou asked, his eyebrows raising. It wasn't like the two had ever planned on hanging out on the day before Christmas.
"Nah, I wanna hang out with you. If I don't it'll just feel weird, you know?" Bakugou, in fact, did know. Every time he and Kirishima spent more than a day or so apart, it began to feel unnatural. With the amount of hanging out they had been doing, seeing and talking to each other had been engraved into their daily agenda.
Bakugou nodded and folded his legs underneath him, "Okay, I guess that makes sense."
"Well, what do you wanna do then," Kirishima questioned. Bakugou could see it in his face that he really wanted to go to the party. Kirishima was what Bakugou would describe as a social consumer. He lived for social interaction. Bakugou swore that if Kirishima were to be separated from humans for longer than a few days he would go nuts. So, ultimately, Bakugou "changed his mind".
"How long is this damn party," Bakugou growled, his arms crossing over his chest as he averted his eyes to the nightstand beside Kirishima's bed that was topped with various knick nacks, most relating to the redheads favorite movie hero, Crimson Riot. Bakugou watched from the corner of his eye as Kirishima shot up off the floor, his eyes wide with excitement. Something within Bakugou groaned while another something cheered happily, glad it could make Kirishima smile. Maybe they were his heart and brain, both sending different signals, but hell, when Kirishima wrapped him up in a tight hug, he wouldn't have cared less where the feeling had come from.
