The sky was cloudless and the air was warm, washing away the cold and damp of the frigid winter months. Bakugou would be lying if he said he wasn't glad -- he always appreciated the heat more than he did the cold. Spring had just rounded the corner and while the muddiness of winter still remained, flowers were already starting to bloom and tree's were finally beginning to regain their leaves. In other words, the walk to school had become much prettier.
It had been at least a month since he snapped on the kid from school. He promised himself he'd never fight another kid in the rest of his school years. Not because he regretted it, but because he had to sit through an hour and a half long rant from his mother... while she signed. It was the worst thing Bakugou had ever endured, from her quite frankly violent hand movevments to just being able to understand what the hell what she was trying to sign. Seriously, he may not have went to his JSL classes much but he was sure half of what she was saying was just anger induced waving.
Still, once she had finished, he had been grounded for a full two weeks -- which was a surprisingly short amount of time, he would admit that -- and he had to resort to sneaking out in the late hours of the night to go see Kirishima. The two would normally just walk, walk where ever their feet took them. It was a wonder that neither of them ended up sicker than a dog. The worst symptoms that either of them had experienced was a runny nose during the long winter nights.
Since his release from his mother's issued house arrest, Bakugou spent ninety-eight percent of his time with Kirishima. It wasn't surprising really. He was stuck to the boys side like glue and not one thing could scrape him away. Kirishima surely didn't mind. Actually, a lot of the time, it was Kirishima that invited him over to his house or to the cafe that they had been to so many times that the waitresses knew them by name. With each and every day that passed they seemed to grow more and more close. Though at the moment, while Bakugou lay in between Kirishima's legs with his chin resting on the teens chest, they would seem a little too close to anyone else.
Kirishima scrolled through his phone, one hand swiping across his screen while the other sat comfortably in the middle of Bakugou's back. The blonde was focused on the rise and fall of Kirishima's chest, the feel of his heart beat against him. It was an almost therapeudic experience. It was only when Kirishima's chest rumbled with the oncomings of words did Bakugou look up at him.
"Kat, I love you but we should probably do something," Kirishima said with a smile as he dropped his phone the coffee table. With a grumble of incoherent words, Katsuki closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around Kirishima's waist, not wanting to move from his comfortable spot.
"Too warm," Bakugou said, only opening his eyes when Kirishima placed his hands on the blondes face and squeezed.
"I know, I know, Mr.Grumpy but we're teenagers and it's spring and this house isn't exactly the most entertaining," Kirishima explained.
Bakugou debated for a moment and thought about saying no, but when Kirishima gave him the puppy dog eyes that he had perfected, he knew he had no choice. With a huff that blew a tuft of hair out of his face, Bakugou grumbled, "Fine." Kirishima grinned triumphantly and pressed a soft kiss to Bakugou's forehead that made the blonde think that moving from his warm spot was worth it.
"What do you even want to do," Katsuki asked as he sat up on the couch and ran a hand through his messy hair. He glanced to Kirishima curiously as the teen sat up and stretched his arms above his head. The action caused the light red t-shirt Kirishima was wearing to ride up just a bit, giving Bakugou the holy glimpse of the teens torso. Bless.
The red-head brought his arms down and rose to his feet, "I haven't the slightest idea."
"Well, you suggested getting up out of my cozy spot so you better figure it out," Bakugou warned as he too, stood up. The blonde leaned against Kirishima as they made their way to the front door. Bakugou was beginning to think he really was a new appendage when it came to his attachment to Kirishima.
