Chapter 4: Snapped

Third Person POV 

It's been a few days since Y/N had his nightmare. Ever since then, team RWBY has been spending more of their time with him hoping to keep him from experiencing it once again. Since then team RWBY decided to keep it a secret from the others. Right now, they are sitting in the cafeteria as they ate their lunch with their friends. 

Nora: So there we were in the middle of the night. 

Ren: It was days. 

Nora: We were surrounded by Ursais. 

Ren: There were beowolves. 

Nora: DOZENS OF THEM! 

Ren: Two of them. 

Nora: But they were no match. And in the end, Ren and I took them down and made boat load of Lien selling Ursa skin rugs. 

Ren: Ah. She's been having this reoccurring dream for nearly a month now. 

 While Nora kept talking, Y/N was picking at his food while everyone looked at him with worry. 

RWBY/JNPR: Y/N? Are you okay? 

Y/N's POV 

I could still hear his voice. 

I could still hear his anger. 

Y/N: You've failed them...You've failed to protect your team...What type of leader fails to protect their team. 

Y/N: You're not fit to be leader. 

"Shut up." 

Y/N: If you were able to protect them, they would be alive right now would they! 

Suddenly felt someone's hand on my shoulder and looked to see it was Ruby. 

Ruby: Hey. 

"Hey." 

Ruby: You need to eat Y/N. 
She told me. 

"I'm fine." 

Weiss: You're not fine. 
She said as I picked me at my food. 

Blake: Yeah. You need to eat more. You look...pale.

"Fine."
I said as I started eating. 

Third Person POV 

Y/N slowly started to eat his food while the two teams watched him. Y/N continued to eat his food slowly as the girls looked at him. 

Yang: Y/N. You need to eat your food before it gets cold. 

Y/N starts to eat his food faster, listening to what she said. 

While Y/N continued to eat his food, a girl with a beanie sat with them. 

???: Hey girls. 
She said as she say with them. 

RWBY/JNPR: Hey Coco. 
They replied back. 

Coco: Hey Y/N. 
She said to him. 

Y/N looked up at her but went back to eating. Coco looked at them hurtful.

Jaune: He's been like this all day. 
She told her. 

Coco: Oh. 
She said as she ate her food. 

???: OW! STOP IT! 
They all heard a yell in pain. 

Coco: Not again.  
She groaned in annoyance. 

???: What did I tell you. Told you they were real. 

Coco: Cardin leave her alone. 
She told him. 

Cardin: And what are you going to do fashion slut. 

Coco growls at him as he walks over to her. 

Cardin: Tell me. What are you going to do fashion slut. 

Yang: Leave her alone Cardin. 
She growled. 

Cardin: What are you going to do bimbo. 

Yang growled at him as Ruby held her back. 

Y/N: Leave them alone Cardin. 
He said with empty voice. 

Cardin: And the boy in wheels is now talking. I haven't heard your pathetic voice in so long I kind of missed it. 
He mocked him. 

Y/N ignored his remark. 

Cardin: Still quiet... Hmm. That girl would be dating me if she was still here. Oh wait, that's right. Your team died and you're the only one that survive. Congratuations for the useless team leader of the year! 

Pyrrha: Cardin that is enough! 

Cardin: What are yo-AHHHHHH! 
He screamed in pain as he held his head in his hands. 

The two teams looked at him with shock but saw Y/N's eyes change. 

Cardin: GET OUT OF MY HEAD! 
He yelled in pain, drawing the attention of everyone in the room. 

Cardin was banging his head onto the ground as he screamed in pain. 

Cardin's POV 

I could only hear his voice in my head as I only heard him. 

Y/N: Talk about them again. I won't hesitate to do the same to yours. 

I felt my hearing get louder and louder as I heard everything. I could hear my heartbeat, the birds outside, the clattering footsteps in the room. 

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD." 

Third Person POV 

Ruby: Y/N stop! 
She told him as she placed her hand on his shoulder. 

However Y/N didn't stop as Cardin continued to scream in pain. 

RWBY/JNPR: Y/N! STOP! 
They yelled at him. 

Ruby hugs him as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Y/N looked at her as he saw her hugging her and stopped what he was doing. 

Cardin stopped screaming as Ruby hugged him. As the girls hugged him, they heard clicks of heels coming towards them. 

Goodwitch: I see he isn't doing to well. Ms Belladonna, can you take him to your dorm. 
She said to her. 

Blake: Okay. Come on Y/N. 
She said as she pushed his wheel chair. 

The two exit the cafeteria 

Y/N: Why.
He said to her. 

Blake: Huh? 

Y/N: Why do you all care for me. 

Blake: Because we're your friends. 

To Ozpin

Ozpin was in his office as Ironwood stood in front of him. 

Ironwood: Ozpin.
He said as he held a case in front of him. 

Ozpin: Is that it? 

Ironwood: Yes. Although its a prototype but it'll come in handy for Y/N. 

Ozpin: Thank you General.
