One thing is for sure, falling in love is such a major pleasure to everyone who had coincided with the feeling.

Falling out of love is different. It brought the struggles of severing the relationship between them, braving forward no matter how guilty their heart pleads.

Ikige Chieko, to say, was in love with the Mist Pillar. Rather, she was ardent about the idea of being in love with the stoic boy.

At first, it was interest. How could he manage to keep a poker face? How could he always daze off with his mind elsewhere? How would he look like if he smiled?

The one that pried her inner self the most is, would someone love him even if he is unromantic and bland?

As a secret romance enthusiast, she excitedly supported every girl who would have the heart to face the emotionless boy. They were few, some were of infatuation and others simply because he saved them from a demon attack.

It was better than nothing, right?

All of those chance encounters all fell since Muichiro would barely take a second look at them then his eyes drift back to the infinite blue sky.

Love is also miraculous in many ways. Although Chieko, with her utmost effort, tried pairing him up with every girl that had their hearts melted by him, he still preferred the air-headed Chieko.

She was caring yet eccentric. Lovable and terrifying. Cute but her mood is unreadable. He found a lot of good and bad things about her, the bad weighing the good.

Unexpectedly, he still liked hanging out with her even with knowing her ulterior motives.

Seeing her black fading brown hair vibrantly shining in the light, his heart skipped. Her shimmering green eyes made his actions jittery.

He liked her a lot.

He wanted to thank her for spending time with him, no matter how boring he is. He expressed deep gratitude for staying with him.

Maybe...

Since he was always watching her, she knew where her eyes stared for an elongated period of time.

Stares that weren't directed towards him. Although he felt hurt, he knew to accept it, since that's life.

Ikige Chieko only ever really loved the idea of love. No one could possibly make her swoon and throb the way a specific someone could.

Falling out of love..

Yeah, he truly hated it.
