Every wednesday morning Danielle Claire went to the Deli coffee shop. She'd sit by the bar, on the seat closest to the windows and look out at the people walking past. Danielle knew exactly what it was about that old coffee shop she loved so much. It was were she had first fallen for Joe, and as she sat were they once sat together and Danielle was reminded of everything.

As she walked into the coffee shop that Wednesday morning and the smell of freshly baked cookies and overpriced coffee overcame her there he was. She hadn't expected to see him again, Joe didn't let people in, and when he did if those people let him down a second chance wasn't usually for the taking. She swept the unruly loose pieces of hair being her ears before making her way over to Joe, "What are you doing here?" She didn't want to sound harsh, but she had to, because she needed him gone.

"You've been avoiding me" Joe States, and he was right she had been, because when she was with him what she felt it consumed her and just hearing his voice made her want to stay with him, "I texted you a million times Dani"

"Joe we're broken up" She reminds him, "I don't have to answer your text anymore" The last thing she wanted to do was to break up with Joe. Still she did it anyway, because Danielle was trying to protect him, to keep him safe.

"I'm not going to leave you alone until you tell my why you did it, why did you break up with me Dani?" He questioned, it was unfair not to answer him but in her eyes the truth was even crueler.

"You dont really have a choice" She informed, "I'm leaving tomorrow, im going to America" Joe didn't know what to say or even what to think. All he knew was that Danielle Claire knew how to send his head flying.

"America?" He repeated, "You break up with me and then uproot your life so you can move to America. What the fuck is it you're not telling me?" Joe knew something was wrong, because he knew Dani, she hated being spontaneous. The girl had religiously gone to the same coffee shop every wednesday since she was a teenager; she hated change and so he knew something had to be wrong.

"It doesn't matter" She shrugged, looking out of the window, "You should move on Joe, because I'm not coming back, thank you for the past couple of years, you were always a good thing" She stood up from her seat, ready to leave.

"So what thats it?" Joe snapped, "You're just leaving, this is bullshit Dani" She wanted him to be happy, and to tell him the truth would only cause him pain.

She had to leave him, but at least she got to see him one last time, "Goodbye Joe" She walked out of the coffee shop for the final time, the sound of her ex lover could be heard calling her name, painfully she ignored him.

She jumped into her car ready to drive to the airport when everything came rushing out. As much as she tried to hold it in, she succumbed to the pain of leaving Joe cole behind. The world turned into a blur, everything but the pain was gone.

Danielle Claire was dying, and she was determined to keep Joe Cole from ever finding out.
