After their encounter with the beasts, Pyrrha along with the rest of the group continued searching for higher ground. Pyrrha still had lingering reservations for the people she was with. As she does so, she turned to the Hound as saw a wound on his shoulder.
Pyrrha: Sandor! You're hurt!
The Hound: It's nothing Little Bird. I've had worse.
Pyrrha: Nonsense! We need to get that wound addressed immediately!
Pyrrha looked at the wound and saw a nasty bite mark from one of the beasts. As Pyrrha was addressing the Hound's wound, Cad Bane walked up to the Hound and injected the Hound with a bacta shot. This causes pain to the Hound.
The Hound: Argh fuck! What the fuck did you just do to me?!
Cad Bane: You'll be fine. Let's keep moving.
The Hound's wound immediately starts healing, puzzling both Pyrrha and the Hound. Meanwhile, Cormac sees something moving through the trees. Dark Ace notices this.
Cormac: We're being watched.
Dark Ace: Must be waiting for an opportunity. Scouting us out. Let's not give them one.
As they continue walking through the jungle, Pyrrha feels uneasy.
The Hound: Something bothering you Little Bird?
Pyrrha: Why do you keep calling me that?
The Hound: Let's just say you remind me of someone I know.
Pyrrha: Should I be worried?
The Hound chuckles at this. He saw Arya and Sansa in Pyrrha.
The Hound: Guess we'll find out, won't we Little Bird?
Pyrrha became curious about the Hound. He seemed different from the others. He wasn't a psychopath like Hidan or a cold killer like Dark Ace. He seemed different much like she is from the group. She soon accidentally bumps into Hidan.
Pyrrha: Oh I'm sorry!
Hidan: Watch where you're going! Are you fucking blind?!
Cad Bane: Someone is.
Hidan: The fuck is that supposed to mean you blue freak?! Do you dare mock a servant of Lord Jashin?! I will punish you for your blasphemy!
Cad Bane: Do I look like I care about your god? The only god I believe in is credits.
Upon hearing Cad Bane's prime motivation, the fanatical Jashinist became disgusted. While his partner in the Akatsuki was a bounty hunter himself, he was still disgusted.
Hidan: Great. Another money grubbing leech! If there's anything I hate more than blasphemers, it's greed!
Dark Ace became interested in Cad Bane's profession. He was impressed with how ruthless and efficient he was back in the encounter with the beasts.
Dark Ace: A bounty hunter eh? Perhaps you should come to Atmos. I'm sure Master Cyclonis would be interested in your services.
Cad Bane: As long as the pay is good, then I'll do whatever job you want with no questions asked.
Soon, the group came across a ravine. The only thing bridging the gap was a giant log. The group soon began to walk across the log. When they reached the other side, Cormac saw a vantage point.
Cormac: I'll scout ahead. Wait right here.
Cormac began climbing the tree without much difficulty. When he reached the top of the tree, he sees a pathway leading to higher ground.
Dark Ace: Find anything?!
Cormac: We're nearly there!
Dark Ace: Get down here and let's go! We're too exposed out here!
As Cormac was climbing down the tree, Pyrrha saw a strange looking plant. Curiosity gripped her as she was about to inspect it, Cad Bane grabbed her arm and pulled her away.
Pyrrha: What the.....
Cad Bane simply pointed to a bird flying their way. When the bird stopped and was perched on top of the plant, the plant then snapped at the bird and ate it. Pyrrha was shocked as she almost became a victim of that plant.
Pyrrha: T...thank you!
Cad Bane: Anytime.
Dark Ace: Enough chatter! Let's just get to higher ground!
After that, Dark Ace leads the group to higher ground. As they walked to the edge of a great cliff, they came to a stunning and terrifying realization. The sky was unlike anything any of them had ever seen. Pyrrha herself was absolutely horrified as this. Even Hidan was speechless. Cad Bane however had a blank reaction on his face that the Hound notices.
The Hound: Glad to see you're taking this so fucking lightly!
Cad Bane: Hhm....
Cad Bane had no visible reaction. As an intergalactic bounty hunter, he had been around the Galaxy a few times. Seeing an alien sky was nothing new to the Duros bounty hunter.
Hidan: Well I'll be damned....
The Hound: Seven fucking Hells.....
Pyrrha: I can't believe it.....
As everyone was processing this information, Dark Ace kept his mind on what was in front of him.
Dark Ace: Now that we know where we are, now we find out how do we get out.
Pyrrha: But how do we get out? We don't even know how we got here in the first place.
Cormac surveyed the area in front of them with his Eagle Vision. As he does so, he sees smoke coming nearby in what looked to be some kind of enclave.
Cormac: Look.
As Cormac points out the smoke, everyone becomes interested.
Dark Ace: That could give us answers.
Pyrrha: What about whoever sent us here?
Hidan: Who fucking cares?! I get more sacrifices for Lord Jashin!
The Hound: We don't exactly have a choice Little Bird.
Dark Ace: We'll worry about our....jailers later. Let's just get to that enclave and find a way out.
Now that they have an idea of where they were at, now it was time for them to find a way out. Little do they know that horrifying answers awaited the group in that enclave.
