Predator: The Ultimate Hunt

Chapter Four - First Blood

After realizing the situation that they were in, the group began making their way to the enclave that Cormac spotted. As they walked, Pyrrha walked up to Dark Ace. 

Pyrrha: So what's the plan? 

Dark Ace: We move in on the enclave. See what's in there. 

Pyrrha was hesitant. This plan followed more on instinct rather than an actual plan. 

Pyrrha: That's it? How can we be sure there's something in that enclave? It could be a trap. There could be nothing at all.

Dark Ace: If you have a better idea, then I'm all ears. 

The comment silenced Pyrrha as they continued walking to the enclave. As they do, Cormac stopped as he felt something looming near the trees. His assassin instincts kept him on his guard. He simply kept moving as he walked towards Dark Ace. 

Dark Ace: We're being followed, aren't we?

Cormac: Something's watching us. Most likely since we got here. They're scouting us.

Dark Ace: They're waiting for the right time to strike. For an opportunity. If it comes down to it, we may need to someone behind. Maybe more if the situation calls for it. 

Dark Ace and Cormac then glanced over to the group. Both made the conscious decision tl leave someone behind should the situation called for it. Meanwhile, Pyrrha was curious about Hidan's supposed immortality.

Pyrrha: Excuse me, Hidan?

Hidan: The fuck do you want lady?!

Pyrrha: I was curious about your....immortality? Is it your semblance?

Hidan: Semblance?! The fuck is a semblance?! My immortality is gifted to me for my services to Lord Jashin! For my offerings of blood, Lord Jashin blessed me with immortality!

Pyrrha: So you kill people for your God? 

Hidan: Are you fucking deaf?! Of course I do! I kill anyone who I feel is worthy for Lord Jashin! 

Pyrrha: That's horrible! How could you even think like that?!

Hidan: With a smile on my face! Keep thinking like that, you'll probably end up dead! Haha!

Cad Bane: Keep running your mouth, and we'll all be dead. Even you. 

The Hound: I'm with the Sellsword. Shut your fucking mouth. Nothing screams "kill us, we're here" then a loud mouth cocksucker like you. 

Hidan: Fuck you! 

After that exchange of banter, the group finally reached the enclave. The enclave looked like a hunting camp. 

The Hound: The fuck is this place?

Cad Bane: Looks like a hunting camp. There's the tracks from the creatures. 

As Cad Bane points out the tracks to the group, Cormac walks over to the tracks and inspects them. 

Cormac: These were recent. Heading out of the camp. There's another set of tracks leading into the camp. Whatever made this camp sent the creatures after us. 

Hidan: No fucking shit! 

As the group inspects the camp for any clues that could get them off, Pyrrha spots a Predator strung up to a totem pole. 

Pyrrha: Guys! There's something over here!

As Pyrrha points the Predator out, everyone with the exception of Cad Bane was stunned. 

Cormac: What manner of creature is this? 

Hidan: Is it dead?

Curiosity overcame Pyrrha as she reached her hand out of the creature. As she did, the Predator's eyes shot open and begins roaring at everyone, scaring Pyrrha. 

Hidan: What the fuck is that thing?! 

Cormac: This was a mistake. We have to leave now!

As everyone tried to process what they just saw, the Hound looks around and saw someone missing. 

The Hound: Where the fuck is Ace? 

Pyrrha along with the rest of the group looked around to find Dark Ace no where to be seen. 

Pyrrha: He left us! 

Suddenly, the sound of clicking was heard in the distance. Everyone immediately prepared their weapons. As they looked around, a small projectile hits Hidan in the stomach. Before he could react, the projectile expands and impales him while raising his body in the air. 

Hidan: God fucking dammit!

As Hidan struggles to free himself, Dark Ace reveals himself and begins slashing at the nearby trees with his Two Handed Crystal Sword. As he gets into a stance, he sees two sets of yellow eyes glowing. He quickly realizes that he and the group were outmatched. 

Dark Ace: RUN!

As the group begins to run, Pyrrha looks back on Hidan still struggling to free himself. Her huntress instincts kicked in and rushed to help Hidan. 

Hidan: What the fuck are you doing?! 

Pyrrha: Helping you! 

The Hound sees Pyrrha helping Hidan.

The Hound: Let's go Little Bird! We can't stay here!

Pyrrha: We can't just leave him!

The Hound completeplates leaving her, but he fails to convince himself. 

The Hound: Seven fucking Hells.....

He then rushes to Pyrrha's aid and helps her free Hidan from the spikes that bound him. The Hound then put Hidan on his back despite his protest.

Hidan: Let me go you fucking asshole!

The Hound: Just shut your fucking mouth! Let's go Little Bird!

As the cloaked Predators begin firing their Plasma Castors at them, Pyrrha picks up Hidan's Triple Bladed Scythe and began running. Eventually, the two catch up with the rest of the group. 

Dark Ace: Keep moving! Don't stop! 

The group kept running as the Predators fired their Plasma Castors at them. Eventually, they come across a cliff. Without hesitation, they all jump off and plummeted to the water below. While everyone landed directly into the water, Hidan's body smashed into the rocks before landing in the water. As the group escaped from the Predators, the Predators ceased fire and began to uncloak one by one. They took note of their encounter and prepared for what would be a challenging a worthy hunt.
