They sit on the patio chairs, looking out onto the street below. The sun is high above the buildings, the city shining. The cool wind can be felt, slowly getting colder. The summer weather is almost over, the colder days coming. Charlie and Isaac continue to discuss the plan.
“We will be in the same van. We will have four vans circle the property. I called Fernando and he will meet with us in the evening. We will introduce him to Fedor. We should also buy a molotov and maybe another flash bang.”
    Charlie nods, liking the idea.
“We will strike tonight. One step closer. I pray at the end of this, we are able to do the right thing. I hope something good will come from this.”
“Good will come from this. Alex will be avenged.”
They both stand up, entering the apartment. Charlie hopes more than just avenging Alex, he hopes they can save the women. He wants to bring families back together. He wants to fix everything he has done wrong. He wants a reason not to hate himself.
    “I’ll see you then.”
Charlie closes the door, heading to the elevator. He thought his apartment was nice. It is better than Dante’s house. His hoarding isn’t as bad as most, but the boxes are still lying around everywhere. However, he wouldn’t see himself living with Isaac. He feels Isaac isn’t the type of person he could really be close to. He feels Isaac is driven by himself, uncaring about anyone else. Selfish.
The elevator doors open, to a woman crying. They lock eyes, never seeing each other before. Rose’s makeup streaks down her face, her eyes watering. She walks past him, fast. Charlie feels bad for her. He hopes that whoever she was, that everything turns out okay.
The door shakes from her pounding, Rose waiting outside Isaac’s apartment door. Room three twenty-two. There is a long moment before the door open, Isaac speaking.
     “Char-”
Isaac stops in his tracks, looking at Rose sobbing. Rose says nothing and pushes herself inside, grabbing her hair in frustration. Isaac wonders what is wrong, not understanding.
      “What’s wrong?”
     “‘What’s wrong’?! You! You’re ‘what’s wrong’!”
      Isaac steps back, offended.
“What did I do?! I’ve just been a little busy, is all!”
“‘A little busy’?! Fuck you! I know you’re cheating on me! Why else would you completely ignore me when I call, when I just want to spend time with someone I love?! Why now?!”
Isaac closes his eyes, anger building.
“Cheating?! I would never cheat on you! I’ve invested so much of my precious time into you! And for what?! Not for you to accuse me of something your ex did! Watch your damn mouth!”
Rose yells in frustration, clenching her fists.
“Watch my mouth?! This is the first time you’ve let me speak in days! I don’t give a shit about your precious time! I’m the one pushing aside my own future and education to fit you into my life?! Why can’t you be grateful?! What could you possibly be doing every damn day?!”
Isaac’s hands shake, rage flooding out.
“You want to know?! Do you?! I’m doing Alex justice! I’m cleaning this world one step at a time! My hands are sculpting the future of this land! I have become its god!”
Rose looks at him in disgust, stepping closer.
“You’re a god of nothing! You’re a disgusting animal with anger issues! You're not worth anyone's time! You are throwing around Alex’s name as an excuse! You are a sick fuck! I wish he saw what kind of a person you have become! He would hate you as much as I do!”
Isaac roars, louder than ever before.
    “You bitch!”
He hits her as hard as he can, right against her head. Her blood drips onto the floor from a cut, her skin breaking. She falls against the table, going silent. She gets back up slowly, pulling her hair out of her cut.
    “We’re done.”
She slams his door as she leaves, taking the stairs. Isaac screams on top of his lungs in rage, she can hear it from the staircase. She exits the building, climbing into her car. She opens her phone, looking at her new friend in her contacts. The phone rings.
    “Rose?”
“Wallace. Is it okay if I come over?”
Her crying can be heard through the phone.
    “What’s wrong?”
“Isaac and I are over. I’m done. I need someone in my life who will respect me as a person.”
Isaac is in his apartment, sitting on the floor. He can see the small few drips, her blood on the floor. He has lost her. He lost control, yet again. His blood boils at the thought of the world taking everything away from him. He takes a few deep breaths, closing his eyes. He will bottle up his anger, to save it for Simon. Soon however, his bottle will be full. There is only so much a person can bury. Soon everyone around him will be affected. Soon everyone will feel his rage.
