Leanna and Jackson were one of those couples who, when they married, had not been able to afford a honeymoon. So they saved up for months and months during which they had a son called Kai. It was only when Kai was two years of age, that they finally had enough money to go on the honeymoon of their dreams. They were over the moon! They booked a nanny to take care of Kai, while they were away. The nanny they normally booked was available for the fortnight they were away. Kai loved his nanny so there would be no problem. Eventually, the time had arrived of Leanna and Jackson's honeymoon. The couple kissed their son goodbye and off they went, all the way to Mauritius. The nanny and Kai waved at them and sent air kisses.

Once they got home, the nanny fed Kai some milk and put him to bed as it was getting quite late. She read him his favourite book - The Very Hungry Catapillar and played with his finger puppets. Once Kai fell asleep, she went downstairs and started watching television. Her favourite show was on so she started watching it. About half an hour later, the phone rang so she picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Check on the baby. Check on the baby. Now."

"Ugh. Stop prank calling!!"

She put the phone down. Stupid prank calls. Complete waste of time. she thought. A couple of minutes later, Kai started crying. She went upstairs to calm him down. She rocked him gently to settle him and soon, he fell asleep. The nanny went back downstairs and watched some more television. An hour later, the phone rang again. She sighed heavily and picked up the phone.

"Check on the baby. Check on the baby."

"Please may I ask who is calling? These types of phone calls are irrelevant so please stop calling me!"

"Check on the baby. Or you will both DIE."

The nanny got scared at this and rushed upstairs to check on Kai.

He wasn't in his bed. And the window was open. She looked out the window and only saw a rustling tree. She closed the window as it was getting cold in the room and saw a reflection. Of a clown. Covered in blood. Clutching a knife.

She screamed and ran downstairs back into the living room. Hanging down from the ceiling was a small lifeless body. Next to it was a plate. Holding Kai's bloody face. He had a look of horror plastered on his face. She screeched with fear and ran out the house. She looked back at the house panting. The clown was standing there waving with a smile, petrifying enough to make your blood run cold.
