May-Li kept on getting woken by some weird snapping noises. Its just a dream she kept thinking. Its just a dream.

She kept on having the same dreams after her parents died a month ago. Their death was a mystery. She lived alone and had to make do with what was in the house. She didn't have a good life at all. She had no friends to talk to. No one to talk to. She suffered severe depression and frequently got panic attacks for no reason at all. She was hungry. So hungry. She had eaten all the food in the house in just a couple of weeks.

She didn't miss her parents. She hated them. So much. They didn't care about, didn't feed her well, didn't clothe her well. They just sat and ate and watched T.V. They didn't send her to school so she didn't have good education. She taught herself to read and write. Just like Matilda she thought. The only thing that kept her entertained was her phone. She became obsessed with a game called Temple Run. She liked it because she thought it was similar to her previous life. She wanted to run - forever to no place in particular. She wanted to get away from life itself.

The next day, May-Li was playing Temple Run and she slowly got tired and fell asleep. Her phone dropped on the floor.

She woke up in the evening and saw her phone on the floor. She wanted to play Temple Run again so she picked it up. The camera app was open. What? I never take pictures! she thought Why is this open? She flicked through her pictures. Her phone was filled with pictures of her sleeping.
