chapter 13 (inside man)

BONNIE

The sun had risen and it was finally morning ,I couldn't shake what happened during the course of the night. Who was that woman and what did she want from me? Who was she talking about and referring to as 'he' I was utterly lost.

I took my phone and dialed Dean's number but it wasn't going through, I tried three more times but to no use, I also tried calling Jerome but he's number went directly to voicemail. I couldn't think of anyone else so I called Luca.

"hey " I said.

"Hey, " he said with a sleepy voice.

"I'm sorry for waking you up this early" I said

"It's okay. What's wrong you sound shaken?" he said. 

"Something happened last night, do you mind coming over? " I asked.

"yeah sure just give me an hour " he said.

" okay bye " I said.

"see you in a few " he said and cut the line.

Luca was finally here,  I told him what happened and he said some time back Dean was found with a lady that fit the description I gave, and apparently she was very possessive over him.

"Like his girlfriend? " I asked.

"Not really she acted more like he was an object she owned, it was quite creepy if you ask me " he said. "And at the time I was pretty oblivious to the whole supernatural thing"

My phone rang and it was a call from Lia.

"Hey could you come to Walt's house " she said, her voice was filled with concern.

"what's wrong? "

"I'll tell you when you get here. " she cut the line.

"we need to go to Walt's place" I said.

"The torc community always makes me feel uncomfortable, they can smell outsiders " he said.

" Don't be ridiculous we'll take my car I haven't driven in a while " I said.

When we finally got there I could feel the tension in the air, something was terribly wrong.

" you made it " Lia said as she approached us. " there was an attack on the alpha and just passed a few minutes before you got here."

" how's Walt holding up " I asked.

"Not to bad but his mother isn't doing to good " she explained and not to long after I saw Dean walking towards me.

"hey " he said "I'm sorry I left abruptly last night but I had to come here "

" it's okay but we really need to talk about something else once everything here has calmed down. " I told him.

Hours had passed and the Alpha's body had been bunt as per tradition and his ash stored in a gold ash vase and placed in the underground tomb. And everyone was back in the house . I pulled Dean aside.

"Someone broke into my room last night " I said to him. " tall blonde lady, green eyes sounds familiar? " I looked at him in the dead in the eyes.

"did she touch you? " he asked with so much concern.

" Yes but she didn't harm me " I said.

He held my chin up, and looked at my neck. He pulled me to a mirror and I notice a hand mark on my skin .

"She feeds off a person's life force as well as blood, she can do that just by touching you " he explained.

"who is she? " I asked .

"she's a first generation vampire, also the lady that turned me " he explained.
