chapter 7 ( Host)

Bonnie's P. O. V

I woke up sweat dripping from my face, my lungs felt heavy and I felt confused. The dream felt real, my mother the tyet everything felt real, I went to the bathroom and washed my face. The door bell rang and I went down to check who it was. I opened the door and saw Dean and my heart skipped a beat. I didn't know whether to close the door or talk to him.

I took a step back and tried to close the door but he held it preventing me from doing so.

"I just came to check on you, at least say something "he pleaded and I opened the door.

"hi" was the only thing that I could think of he gave a small smile.

"You look disturbed and I know it's not because of me" he looked into my eyes and I looked down.

"It's nothing, I just need to prepare. My brother is getting back home today "I tried to sound normal and exited about him coming home, but I just couldn't rap my head around the dream I had.

"That sounds great, do you need any help. We could be done in no time "he smirked.

"That sounds tempting but Luka will be here shortly, " I tried to decline his offer politely but I could tell he knew that I needed time and something else was bothering me.

"Well if that's what you want, if you need help with anything, I'm just a call away" he turned and ran off.

I got back in got my phone to call Luka to ask what time he would be over to help the phone rang a couple of times before he answered.

"Hey, Luke " I said softly knowing we'll that I probably just woke him up.

"What's with the early call, " he mumbled through the phone.

"It's not that early, it's nine"

"As I said early, I get up at eleven" he's tired voice still speaking I got a little annoyed.

"Well I told you Zack is coming back today and you're supposed to be here helping with the little surprise "I told him.

"What surprise? All you said was his coming back and I should be there, you didn't mention anything to do with a surprise "he said in a complaint tone.

"Just get your butt out of bed and here in the next thirty minutes "I scolded through the phone.

"Fine I'll be there "he mumbled and I cut the line

Luka got home and honestly I hadn't planned a surprise I just wanted him to help me prepare lunch for Zack, I'm a really horrible cook and he's a great cook. Luka was friends with Dean and Jerome so he probably new about everything so I started to ask questions.

I sat on the counter top watching him cook.

"You've known Dean and Jerome for some time now?" I asked curiously.

"yeah, since they got here two years ago just a few months after you left" he explained while concentrating on the food.

"Are you close?" I asked

"More or less " he shook his head.

"So you know about what they are?" he immediately stopped what he was doing and turned to look at me.

"What are you talking about?" he's voice becoming a pitch higher indicating the new something.

"Don't lie to me I already know "I looked him dead in the eye.

"Well I don't know what exactly you're talking about "he turned around.

"They are vampire's "I said and he let out a small laugh.
