chapter 5 ( Truth )

Bonnie's P.O.V

I got up with a slight headache and everything seemed fuzzy. I got out of my bed and walked to the mirror and I still had my clothes on from the previous day and my makeup was smudged all over my face.

I went to the shower and opened the tap I striped out of my clothes and let the water run down my skin washing the dirt off and I zoned out thinking through what happened the day before. I remember Luka bring me back home and we talked about something I couldn't remember then I went to bed.

But I felt like something wasn't adding up .Then I saw a flash of images from my dream and it felt like it all happened.

Dean carrying me through the forest and bringing me home after saving me from Jerome, it felt so real and the truth felt like a dream.

"Vampire" Dean's voice lingering in my head. But it still all felt like reality than a dream.

Once I was done with my shower I got out and changed into a long jumper and shorts, not planning on leaving the house.

I went down stairs turned on the TV and grabbed a bowl of ice cream from the freezer and a large spoon. I heard my phone ring and picked it up and it was Dean.

"Hey" I said not try to sound excited.

"Hi .ibis just wanted to check on you see if you're okay "he stutter through his words.

"I'm great, why wouldn't I be?"

"You seemed really out of it yesterday "which explains why most of it seemed fuzzy.

"No, I'm great "I responded.

"So" he stressed his words "what about we do something later?" he asked and inner me felt a jolt of happiness.

"Yes. Tomorrow? "I asked

"Yeah, see you then "he said and cut the line and I could help but squeal and jump on the couch.

We drove for an hour and talked about little things. He told me about how he's family died and how Jerome has now become like a brother to him. And I told him about how my parents died two years ago and how I had to leave town for school .And I told him about my brother Zack how was working on some projects out of town .

"We've been driving for an hour, where are you taking me?" I raised a brow.

"A little patience " he smiled. He turned out of the main road and into a small road heading into the woods.

"Is this where you're planning to murder me, and drain my blood "my joke leaving my mouth without a second thought and Dean's expression changed and he became tense." I was just messing with you "I laughed and he let out a small laugh and kept quiet.

Images of him carrying me through the forest run through my mind and I couldn't stop thinking about it my mind was playing tricks on me and I couldn't help but break the silence that now swapped the air.

"I had a really weird dream, like so freaking weird "I blurted out.

"Are you going to tell me about? "He asked.

" I guess so" I said getting ready for a dramatic story telling " I was running through the forest as fast as my legs could take me and before I knew it he caught up to me 'Jerome ' dan dan daa .the you saved me from him by snapping his neck with your hands and carried me running through the forest at the speed of light " I used hand gestures to put more of a dramatic feel. " you took me home and I felt so sick I puked rainbows and candy " I laughed.
