Kaito hopped off the wall and extended a hand "Well, Maki, it's nice to meet you!"
"Yeah... you too..." she said gingerly shaking his hand, which, in her opinion, were too soft.
They spent quite a long time hanging out that day. They went to a café where Maki had some tea, while the others ate, not being very hungry herself.
She learned a bit about the boys she was dealing with that day. Shuichi was nowhere near as outgoing and extroverted as she first thought. He was honestly quite a shy, nervous kid, that Kaitocalled his 'sidekick'.
Kaito on the other hand was, as Maki described him to herself, "annoying as hell." He never shut up, constantly asking her things about herself. She guesses it made sense seeing as he didn't know her, but she'd rather not talk that much... also, he had some hero complex where he thought he was the main character of some dorky story.
Nevertheless, even though she never admit it, it was nice to have people around...

Uh hey? I know I said that this chapter would be way longer but I just wanted to get something out. I swear the next one will be way longer.
So if it's not obvious, I completely forgot/gave abt this fic, but I decided to try to get some content out. I'll try to update more but uhh no set schedule anymore... anyway, I might use a few prompts to help throughout.
