As the night goes on, more people start pulling up to the skate park and it turns into a real party. Trevor's always been really popular with girls, so it's not hard for me to believe that he's successfully talked two of them into a threeway with him. He looks over at our group and winks, Nolan and Mase groan and swear. I look at them questionably, "We just lost the bet." Mase says, pulling out his wallet. "That man is a god." Nolan confirms doing the same. As the two girls walk by us towards the car park Trevor pauses with his hand out "Aight. Pay up." he says and they place the two fifties on his palm. "Easy money." Trevor says pocketing the cash and before he turns to leave he looks to me, "You see those girls?" He points towards them as they wait by his car "Don't be like those girls." he instructs and then pats my head. I roll my eyes and gag as he leaves. As much as I believe he's capable of doing it, I hate to imagine it. I make my way to the esky and pull out a stronger drink. As I take my first sip someone approaches me from the crowd, "Harris!" I almost spit my drink out. "What are you doing here?" I ask. Since Partridge segregates the boys from the girls for his studio sessions, Harris and I don't see each other as often as we once did. "Hey Regina, it's been a long time huh." he responds rather awkwardly. I suppose it's because we haven't had the chance to talk about what happened opening night. I internally groan, I've been avoiding him for this reason. I wish he never kissed me, we were supposed to be just friends... now it's complicated. "Uh, yeah." I say " Seriously what are you doing here? I didn't think this would be your scene." he laughs "I could say the same for you." I smile at him politely but really I can't help but think how wrong he is about me. "Listen..." He continues and I cringe, I know what's coming next. "I know you've been avoiding me since I kissed you opening night." oh god. Why now? Harris moves closer to me and I take a drink "now you might be thinking that I go around kissing girls but I don't, I assure you that I kissed you because I feel like I'm in love with you." I choke on my drink and spit it out. I was wrong, I had no idea he was going to say that. "Uhh.." I wipe my mouth with the sleeve of my hoodie "Excuse me? Love?" I repeat and he nods his head eagerly. "I don't think you're in love with me, you hardly know me." I try to reason with him. "Is there a problem here?" I hear as Nolan and Mase show up beside me, "Is this guys giving you trouble, Reg?" I run a hand through my hair, I really don't want to deal with Harris but I wouldn't get Nolan and Mase to deal with him, that would be cruel. "No.." I finally say "But I think we are done here."
"What was that about?" asks Nolan as we walk back to our spot in the park and I groan, "You won't believe me when I say that he just confessed his love for me... would you?" Nolan and Mase look at each other and burst into laughter, Nolan even falls to his knees "No way! No way!" he gasps in between laughter. "Oh that poor son of a bitch!" Mase comments as he holds his sides "R.I.P." I roll my eyes, "Come on, it can't be that funny?" "Oh but it is." says Nolan and Mase shakes his head in agreement. We reach our spot just as Kaydens pulls into the carpark. I wave at him as he gets out of his car and makes his way to us. "Hey, how'd it go?" I ask once he's by my side "Thanks again for dropping Colton home." "It was no trouble at all. He's a good kid-" He tries to say but Mase cuts him off "Kayden! You just missed it! Some guy just confessed his love to our girl here, can you believe it?" he asks him chuckling "Actually, I can believe it." He replies unamused, "Who was it?" he asks and the boys shrug. Kayden turns to me and I start to back away, "I uh, need to get another drink." "I'll come with you." he says leading the way. On our way there he pins me against a wall "Was it that Louis guy?" he asks and I shake my head. "Who then?" he asks a little frustrated. I try looking into his eyes but he's looking away from me. "Hey." I say "Look at me." and he does. "It doesn't matter." I move close to him, "I want you, remember?" I grab onto his shirt and pull him down to my lips, kissing him. I pull away and he smirks at me "You think that's supposed to remind me?" He says as he leans in to my ear "Try again." he whispers and I fully press myself against him. He moves one hand to hold me at the waist the other grips the wall. I kiss him again but this time my lips coaxed and nibbled against his. My tongue touches the tip of his mouth and he lets me in. When his tongue touches me I tremble in his arms, he smiles against me and takes full control. "Kayden?" someone says and he growls, not stopping. "KAyden!!" Kayden pulls away and glares towards the person as he approaches us "What?" he hisses "This better be goo-Harris? What are you doing here?" I'm breathing heavily against Kayden and I'm sure my face is flushed as I look over at him. Harris stands there looking between the two of us and I close my eyes, throwing my head back. God damn it, Harris has the worst timing. "Fuck you!" he yells at him and Kayden laughs as he pushes me behind him, "You better be fucking kidding Harris." he responds, taking a step towards him. "No! You've got to be kidding ME!" Harris says not backing off. "You could have any girl you want yet you chose the girl you know I'm in love with! Some fucking friend you are!" Kayden shakes his head, a smirk on his face. "You haven't been a real friend to me since middle school, so don't go acting all betrayed." he takes another step "Ark up, Harris. Tell me how you really feel." Harris grits his teeth "I can't believe a girl like Regina would choose you over me. I mean just look at you, you're sick and twisted." "That's more like it." Kayden whispers as he gets into Harris face. Harris growls and tackles him to the ground but Kayden punches him and knocks him to his side. A couple guys from Bellhampton jump in and hold Kayden back, Harris gets up and punches Kayden in the gut. Oh god, I need to get help I think just as Nolan and Mase break through the crowd. A full on brawl commences and I start to hear sirens. The police lights can be seen at a distance. Everyone from the party starts to run, getting into their cars. The whole place is in chaos.
